Been busy looking into steel buildings compared to pole barns, LOL. Might wind up in a nice steel building, some outfit has clearance models and one might have my name on it. Otherwise, I'm having a BLAST camping, gotta do laundry today before the pile rivals K2. Just had a delicious chicken meal at the deli in the Pioneer Grocery Store in South Bend, they have Wi-Fi too, so I'm on the computer even though the library is closed, LOL. I miss my library cutie though, she is goldurned gorgeous!!! There's another SMOKIN' HOT NORDIC PRINCESS who works in the Raymond Post Office, she could grace the cover of any international fashion magazine (or any porno mag, LOL). My cutie librarian is mighty sexy though, she can give me an edumacation any time she likes, 10-4??? I reckon this glamping number is making a man of me, I keep thinking of these beautiful wimmin, LOL. But I DID check listings today, I haven't signed the offer yet but I probably will tomorrow or Wednesday, I just wanna ask the building inspector a few more questions before I commit. No worries, the place isn't even listed yet, so I'm golden, AYE??? Damn, I love the PNW... fine scenery, fine wimmin, cheap properties, low taxes, plenty of work available, what's NOT to like??? I even have a "date" with two gals by the fire in my campsite tonight, they're bicyclists traveling down the coast... both young, and one is a sexy Asian gal, she can stir fry my [censored] anytime, just no freakin' BEAR SPRAY, LOL.

ALRIGHT, YOUSE MONKEYBIKING HEE-ROES & CRUSTY MINI DEMONS O' DIRT, GOTTA GO DO LAUNDRY, Y'ALL HANG LOOSE... YOU'D LIKE THAT TRAIL IN THE FOREST, RIGHT NOW IT'S LIKE A MUD BOG, LOL. OLD CT, YER STILL A KNUCKLEHAID!!! BUT YOU CAN VISIT AND BRING YER BIKE(S) AS SOON AS I HAVE MY HOME UP AND THE POOL TABLE REASSEMBLED, 10-4??? CHEERS!!!

I'M A LONELY BOY..." But I'll console myself with a steak dinner and a truckload of craft beer by the campfire, LOL.

Man, oh man, this weather is PRIMO, LOL... I'm thinking "climate change" has come to the PNW, even the locals say it feels like summer, 10-4? Check the latest pics at the other site to see what I mean, got a whole week of beautiful weather ahead (again), had a nice run earlier that also lasted a week. Not bad, not bad at all... CHEERS!!!

Weather absolutely gorgeous in the low 70s, I'm gonna take credit for bringing "climate change" to the PNW... it's my SUNNY DISPOSITION, don'tcha know??? LOL. Posted more pics at the other site, some in the "Weather" thread in the Off-Topic Forum. Y'all can see South Bend, my new home, a bit o' paradise on earth, with Westport just up the road within easy striking distance for sailing and hitting the beach. This little burg where I'm buying property is rad, much more going on here than the passing tourist will ever know... I've already met some cool folks too, including several commercial fishermen, those boys will bring the seafood to the BBQs we have at my new home/mini pool hall, LOL. Seafood here is UNREAL, best I've ever had, and I used to chow down seafood along each coast in the U.S. when trucking, 10-4??? Willapa Bay has huge oyster beds, it's actually not an ideal body of water to sail due to the numerous hazards to navigation... no worries, I intend to sail outta Westport anyway, I'll be patrolling that primo bathing & surfing beach by spring, cruising just outside the impact zone, LOL. Did it for DECADES in Coronado, no reason why I can't do it in Westport, that's where all the hot tourist wimmin go, LOL. There are regular beauties here as well, all that German & Scandinavian blood, plus some White Russian blood... they have hot wimmin too, comrades!!! Hey, when I'm done building my new home and bringing it up to speed, alla youse who've been cool to me will be welcome to visit, there are primo logging roads through the forest which would make for excellent monkeybiking in good weather like this, LOL. I'm back to the glampsite to grill spicy hot Louisiana-style sausages, WOOHOO!!! HEALTH FOOD, BABY, HEALTH FOOD!!! Y'ALL HANG LOOSE, and CHEERS!!!

Dude, this place is awesome, and there's more work than ya can shake a stick at, it's crazy!!! I'll have no problem finding work, already had a couple offers, but I gotta build my new home first... that'll keep me busy for a couple months, LOL. Otherwise, I'm LIVIN' LARGE in the forest, check the pics I just posted at the other site, I don't have time to post 'em everywhere, 10-4??? Weather here is unbelievable, clear blue skies & sunshine, sign in front of a building read 75 degrees awhile ago, air temp is PERFECT, LOL. Hey, I'm having my THIRD cord o' firewood delivered here shortly, that's why I gotta run, aye??? CHEERS!!!

Been going over the building plans and gubmint codes and whatnot, and this whole crazy project is becoming a daunting task... gotta do as my brother once advised and take it step by step, otherwise it'll seem impossible to complete the mission. All this for a simple rectangular metal building too, you'd think it was the freakin' Taj Mahal based upon all the B.S., 10-4? I long for the good ol' frontier days when a hand could put up a log cabin with no interference whatsoever, no gubmint building codes, none of that headache, AYE??? Totally worth the potential headache of SCALPING by hostile Injuns, no doubt... gimme hostile Injuns over gubmint turds any day of the week. Anyway, I'm back to my glampsite, I posted more pics at the other site, just been busy trying to wrap my head around this whole crazy project and all it entails. My brain is FRIED from all the facts & figures, time for some cold beer and a hit o' chronic, the antidote to gubmint bull$h!t, LOL.

Closing on the property early next week, according to the realtor... WOOHOO!!! The crazy adventure will continue, but navigating through all the gubmint-related bull$h!t is trickier than dodging crackerheads & muggers in Compton, North Philly or the Lower Bronx on a Saturday night, LOL. Still hanging tough in the field with the kittehs, despite the advent of rain... no big deal, the forest is just as beautiful on rainy days, it's merely a different kind of beauty, 10-4??? Y'all can read more at the other site, gotta run and talk to some contractors about hauling off the funky old trailer, that nasty p.o.s. has to go before I can move forward with the slab project. CHEERS!!! (y)

Deal's off on the property, and so is the steel building, I reckon, since the wankers started backpedaling on their promises and squawking about how it would cost more money. No worries, a fixer I like is still on the market, it's a manufactured home with a nice metal roof, 1600sf and it sits on over an acre of primo land, the banksters who are trying to sell it just lowered the price by $10K, so maybe now they'll consider my even lower offer, LOL. Hey, y'all take a look at the pics I just posted at the other site, I'm on my FOURTH CORD O' FIREWOOD in this glamping adventure, 10-4???

FOUR CORDS, BOYZ!!! AND OVER SIX WEEKS IN THE FIELD, WOOHOO!!! I'M ON A ROLL, LOL... ALL I NEED NOW IS A MONKEYBIKE TO RIDE THAT PRIMO TRAIL THROUGH THE FOREST, MAYBE RUN SOME LOGGING ROADS WITH IT, LOL. CHEERS!!!

The kittehs & I are good, we're gonna take a short-term rental till I find a suitable property, it's only $700 per month with water, sewer & trash included... I'll actually save a bit of money doing this, and the landlord is okay with a short-term rental, month by month. I can get my stuff outta storage too and save that money as well. Thought I'd already be in a place by now, but no worries, we're hangin' tough and still livin' in freakin' PARADISE, LOL. Raining again, last night was the wettest I've experienced since this whole glamping adventure began, 10-4? Read about it at the other website... but know that I haven't abandoned youse monkeybiking hee-roes & crusty mini demons o' dirt!!! OLD CT, yer still a KNUCKLEHAID!!! LOL... :cautious:

Startin' my campfires with GASOLINE now, shoulda done this from the start, LOL. Check the pics I just posted at the other site, gotta run back to the campground, those goldurned eagles are back and I'm concerned about Crackhead getting picked off, 10-4???

Quick update: the kittehs & I are now in the short-term rental, where we'll likely remain for the winter as I carry on this crazy dream project of building my home in the woods, not far from the coast. I'm through looking at fixers, they're all rotted out in this climate, so I'm committed to the steel building... no way I eat the non-refundable $4K "engineering fee" either, I already paid that so it's "Onward, Christian Soldiers!!!" Maybe I'd qualify as a Pagan Soldier, LOL. Anyway, I still have to retrieve the canopies from the campground today, I'm thinking those will come in handy during the slab-pouring project as well as the actual building construction... I left a third of a cord of wood out there too, maybe a bit more, so I'm gonna retrieve that with the help of my friend the firewood man, I can tarp that and burn it later on my own property (no wood stove in the short-term rental). :cautious:

Kittehs are doing fine, no raptors in town to harass them, and there's a nice wooded patch behind the rental, roughly a whole block of woods so thick that no big bird could get in there, 10-4??? There are half a dozen other cats nearby, which means Crackhead now has playmates and Sage is showing his ornery side, LOL. I ran up to Aberdeen and brought back some stuff from my storage unit, I'll soon clear that and store everything in the rental as I proceed with my plan in Napoleonic fashion... WOOHOO!!! It's daunting, but it's also exciting because I get to call all the shots, another important reason to pull research on gubmint regulations & building codes, LOL. Time to sign off and contact the steel building outfit, they p!$$ed me off earlier by backpedaling on some promises, but I'm stuck with the wankers for now, and their part in this process ends once the building materials are delivered. CHEERS!!!

Retrieved my canopies & unburned firewood from Bruceport County Park, figured y'all would get a good laugh outta pics of the Mighty Camry pulling firewood-hauling duty... car was already a FREAKIN' TRAIN WRECK from 47 days of glamping, cats & all, so I reckoned one more dirty task wouldn't hurt, LOL. Gonna detail the car in a day or two, those canopies will come in handy when I buy my land and get started on my project for real, 10-4?

    IMG_7655.JPG IMG_7656.JPG IMG_7657.JPG IMG_7658.JPG IMG_7659.JPG IMG_7660.JPG

Couldn't use the cargo carrier with the vehicle already looking like a lowrider, I threw one piece on the carrier for show, LOL. Remember, this is the same Mighty Camry which once hauled a tricked-out Z50 in the back seat and a pit bike on the cargo carrier... she may not look like much, but I've gotten my use outta this car, LOL. Hey, the open bay shower in my *new* South Bend ghetto flat leaked like a sieve, so I rigged this simple line and curtain across the stall... call it West African Engineering, but it works like gangbusters, LOL.

    IMG_7663.JPG IMG_7662.JPG IMG_7654.JPG

I ain't gonna drop dime one on this ghetto flat, it's just another campsite till I find my land and get started on my project for real, AYE? I'm not even gonna unpack my stuff when I get it out of storage in a few days, I'm just gonna set up my bed, the leather sofa, and the big screen TV for watching football... what else does a man need? Maybe that cute librarian to keep me company, but she doesn't want anything to do with me... [sob]… meh, shows good sense on her part, LOL. CHEERS, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAIDS!!! Er… I mean YOUSE MONKEYBIKING HEE-ROES & CRUSTY MINI DEMONS O' DIRT!!! WAHOO!!!

You wouldn't be doing something weird with that WD40 in the front seat, would you?

Well, Boyz, the tablet went kaput so I bought a new computer, Sidewinder will now officially be Coastal Redneck, LOL. Gettin' Internet service set up in the rental flat, gonna buy a Roku stick or some similar antenna at WallyWorld today so I can (hopefully) watch football this weekend, haven't seen a game in weeks and I'm suffering from GWS (Gridiron Withdrawal Syndrome). It's a bad case too, Boyz, might hafta park my @$$ on the leather motorized reclining sofa and watch game after game Saturday & Sunday, maybe throw in Monday Night just to be on the safe side, LOL.

Otherwise, all is well here in South Bend, kittehs are happy in their new (temporary) digs, and the steel building project is moving forward now that I have a young motivated "project manager"---the former PM was some space cadet who sounded as if he were high most of the time, 10-4? He's done, this younger hand has his act together and we're making progress on the building design. Gotta run, I'm off to Aberdeen to pick up a modem from Comcast, it'll be faster than shipping it, and I gotta buy that antenna anyway.

A door as well, I'm gonna install a cat door on the secondhand door I buy for the flat, then rehang the original door when I leave, taking the substitute with me when I go... it'll come in handy somewhere in my building, and the original door to the rental flat is not the kind suitable for installation of a cat door, aye? No freakin' way I play butler to the cats all winter, that ain't gonna happen, LOL. Y'all be good, I'm off to Aberdeen, that tweekin' crackerhead hellhole, sooner I get it done the better, this being Friday and all.

Y'ALL HANG LOOSE... DON'T WRITE OFF SIDEWINDER TILL THE BOX GOES INTO THE HOLE, LOL.
