The Three Amigos... Sage, Dixie & Wingnut!!!

Hmm, I really have to visit the local thrift shops to replace the bureau and table I sold when I needed some money... would've done that already except for the foot injury, maybe this payday I can start looking, I don't like those wires hanging down in plain sight of the cats. Here we go with Round #2 of kitteh pics, looks like we gots Crackhead messing around, he likes using that little tunnel behind the bottle collection to go from one window sill to the other. All the cats do this, even Little Miss Preggers, though she occasionally knocks a bottle over onto the carpet...

IMG_8795.JPG IMG_8796.JPG IMG_8797.JPG IMG_8798.JPG IMG_8799.JPG IMG_8800.JPG IMG_8801.JPG IMG_8802.JPG IMG_8803.JPG

The little knucklehaid!!! He's looking at some critter outside, maybe little Phoenix who was out there at the time... no shots of Tiger in this group, he went roaring off the minute I opened the door this morning, heaps of birds in the area thanks to the feeders. Gotta keep my kittehs happy, they like watching the birds, LOL. :cautious:

Well, time for breakfast, I guess, I'm getting a bit hungry despite my hangover... I already drank some juice, Emergen-C in water, Wild Berry Zinger Tea, etc., not all at once but in stages, LOL. I'll probably go easy today, gotta go into work again manana... maybe I'll hear from those Work Comp fooliots this week, I don't even know what PLANET those fools are on, 10-4?

CHEERS, YOUSE MONKEYBIKING HEROES & CRUSTY MINI DEMONS O' DIRT!!! THINK I'LL LOOK AT DIRT BIKES AGAIN ON C/L, MIGHT BE BUYING ONE HERE PRONTO, LOL. :red70:

Well, Boyz, at approximately 0400 on St. Patrick's Day, Little Miss Mulligan (or Little Miss Molly) gave birth to six kittens... a hard birthing, as one kitten was stillborn or died shortly after birth, and that kitten has already been laid reverently to rest under one of my fruit trees in the yard. The five surviving kittens seem healthy enough, all squirming and vying for a shot at Molly's belly and the nourishment to be found there. I took a few pics for y'all... the original bloody blanket was swapped for a clean one before I took the photos, no point in posting ugly pics, while a pic of the dead kitten would've been downright disrespectful of life. Only a fool takes that route... here we go with some shots of Molly and her kittens.

IMG_8814.JPG IMG_8815.JPG IMG_8817.JPG IMG_8818.JPG IMG_8825.JPG IMG_8826.JPG IMG_8827.JPG IMG_8828.JPG IMG_8829.JPG IMG_8830.JPG

Now, I've given thought to naming these new additions to our family, and since they were born on St. Patrick's Day I believe it's only fitting to give them Irish names. Paddy & Seamus came to mind, but then I saw this coffee table book on IRISH COUNTIES, so I flipped it open and there on the Contents page were all the names I'd ever need. At least one of the kittens will be female, no doubt, so Clare will be her name. Other names which stood out to me are: Donegal, Kildare, Galway & Sligo. Of course, I haven't ruled out Paddy & Seamus, LOL. Y'all tell me whatcha think, I'm open to suggestions as far as names go...

CHEERS TO Y'ALL, AND HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!! BE SAFE, DON'T DRINK & DRIVE, JUST WALK OR RIDE AS A PASSENGER, AYE???

P.S. Had trouble on the job yesterday with one of the inmate crew, some lazy p.o.s. with a loud mouth and a bad attitude, so I may not have that job much longer... that scumbag goes or I go, we'll see how things pan out. In the meantime, I gots KITTEHS GALORE, LOL. :D

Awww, look at these little kittens, ain't they something else? They're so TINY, but they're full o' life, squirmin' around and hittin' the bottle (so to speak) every chance they get... when they're not crashed out, LOL. They'll fit in around here, that's for sure... :cautious:

IMG_8833.JPG IMG_8834.JPG

Maybe 'Shillelagh' would work for another female name... kitten will have to look like Aunt Esther on "Sanford & Son" before I give her that name, LOL.

CHEERS!!!

I think Little Miss Molly was surprised by the number of kittens she had... six, including the one who didn't survive. But Molly is hangin' tough, and the five little ones are all moving around and making noise. :cautious:

IMG_8849.JPG IMG_8850.JPG IMG_8841.JPG IMG_8842.JPG IMG_8843.JPG IMG_8845.JPG IMG_8846.JPG

That one kitten sure has a bright red nose... might have to skip the Irish name and go with Rudolph on that one. ;)

I like that little orange tabby kitten, that one stands out... I guess we have two pair of the others, two dark & two light in color. Five kittens... somehow this reminds me of a poker hand.

CHEERS!!!

Haha, I like those suggestions... I'm watching a dramatic sky over the Dragoon Mountains as I key this post, but the sun is up over the clouds and the sunshine is streaming into my yard. My cats Tiger & Crackhead are in the yard checking out the birds, but I caught a pic or two of Crackhead before I let him out. Phoenix too, but she's under house arrest, she has been running around too much outdoors & staying out all night, which is dangerous, so I need to remind her where home is. I closed off the southern end of the house so Molly has privacy with her kittens, and Phoenix has the run of the rest of the house... that's how it's gonna be until we resolve this issue with Molly bullying Phoenix. Cue the prison film line: "LOCK 'EM DOWN!!!"

IMG_8860.JPG IMG_8861.JPG IMG_8862.JPG IMG_8863.JPG IMG_8864.JPG IMG_8872.JPG IMG_8873.JPG IMG_8881.JPG IMG_8882.JPG IMG_8883.JPG

I'll be letting Tiger & Crackhead in and out until the bullying issue is settled. Playin' butler to the cats, except for when I go talk to this hand about a job driving a trash truck... I also have to go in search of household goods like toilet paper, go figure, that might turn into a voyage like one made by Captain Cook or Sir Francis Drake. Think I'll make a few calls first, maybe the Depot down in Sierra Vista has TP on its shelves, or maybe our local WallyWorld trucked in some more, might as well let my fingers do the walkin'... er, I mean DRIVIN'. This whole ridiculous Coronavirus scare is a joke, and it's also downright criminal: Democrats deliberately messin' with the global & national economy to make Trump look bad. The investigation should begin with the CDC idiots who have direct ties to Obama... :cautious:

MEH, I'M OFF TO GET CLEANED UP AND GO SPEND SOME MONEY... MAYBE SCORE A NEW JOB WITH NO INMATE CREW, A BIG PLUS.

Have you seen all those anti-gun people Now buying Guns because we are in a National emergency? :rolleyes:Guess they figured out, Stocking up on food does no good when someone steals it from you strongArm style. A lot of it is in California, i wish them Luck and thank my stars to be out of there but worry about friends & family back home.

Get Ammo if you need it, they are buying the hell out of it over here and all purpose flour too.

Over here in scenic southeastern Arizona, folks are ALWAYS buying guns & ammo, LOL, and they don't need no stinking paperwork to do it.

Fact is, you can buy everything ya need at the local swap meet, and the only 'paperwork' is the transfer of C-notes from buyer to seller, LOL. If ya buy at a gun show, ya gotta show AZ identification, but still no paperwork. 2nd Amendment gun rights are BIG here, and no damfool politicians will EVER change that fact... if they DO, the weapons will simply disappear underground, and p!$$ on those globalist tools, LOL.

Hey, I went ahead and paid my '2nd Half' property taxes today, even though they're not due till May... figured I'd do it while I had the money, ya know? WTF, I may be turning into a 'model citizen' with age... like a fine wine or hard liquor, I'm getting better as the years go by, LOL.

Say, here are a few cat pics taken last night, the final two taken at zero-dark-friggin'-thirty this morning... saw the kittehs crammed into that cat bed and HAD to find the camera, LOL.

IMG_8909.JPG IMG_8910.JPG IMG_8911.JPG IMG_8912.JPG IMG_8913.JPG IMG_8914.JPG

That's little Phoenix showin' Crackhead some love atop the fridge (note cat cave in background, always open, LOL), with Phoenix, Crackhead & Tiger crammed into the cat bed. I think that was actually a bed for small-to-medium-sized dogs, but meh, it makes a fine cat bed, 10-4?

CHEERS, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAIDS!!!

Kitteh pics!!! And some landscape shots, we gots early spring flowers everywhere... fields of 'em across town.

IMG_8963.JPG IMG_8964.JPG IMG_8965.JPG IMG_8967.JPG IMG_8969.JPG IMG_8970.JPG IMG_8972.JPG IMG_8991.JPG IMG_8992.JPG IMG_8975.JPG

Gotta weed-whack again, it's only been two or three weeks but the weeds are gettin' outta hand... gonna drive to Sierra Vista today to bag more spools of weed-whacking line, as well as another canister of propane for my BBQ, weather is getting nice here. In the 70s yesterday, same for today I reckon, we'll see how it plays out. Might hafta stop in Tombstone on my way home, grab a beer at Big-Nose Kate's Saloon...

Round #2 o' pics:

IMG_8974.JPG IMG_8976.JPG IMG_8977.JPG IMG_8978.JPG IMG_8979.JPG IMG_8980.JPG IMG_8981.JPG IMG_8982.JPG IMG_8983.JPG IMG_8984.JPG

That cholla y'all see in Pic #7, that's the true "jumping cactus" of the Old West, that cr@p has wicked spines... even with the slightest of pressure, those spines will go right through my welding gloves and into my hand. Don't ask me how I know this... :cautious:

The Apache used those cholla spines to torture folks... toss 'em onto that cactus so they'd die a slow agonizing death.

None of the cacti are flowering yet, that's around the corner, but many wildflowers are already blooming due to an early spring. Global warming, no doubt, LOL. ;)

BTW, that cholla isn't on my property, that's across the street in my neighbor's yard... everything else is on my property. I like my little neighborhood, it's very peaceful and quiet here, and the views don't suck either, 10-4?

Round #3 o' pics:

IMG_8985.JPG IMG_8986.JPG IMG_8987.JPG IMG_8988.JPG IMG_8989.JPG IMG_8990.JPG IMG_8998.JPG IMG_8999.JPG IMG_9000.JPG IMG_9001.JPG

There's Miss Molly with her litter of kittens... another week or two and I'll move 'em outta that box and into the unused garden tub in the master bedroom. Well, I use it once in awhile, but the other tub is not only deeper, it's more practical (takes less time and hot water to fill). BTW, that knucklehaid Molly decided to be a bad mother and leave her kittens alone as she went outside... karma caught up to her and she returned with a piece of that cholla stuck in her belly fur. That's what made me walk across and photograph the cactus... chunk of it was stuck right to her belly, the damned spines already working their way into her flesh. I had to hold her down and extract the cr@p, which she didn't like too much, but she's okay now, I caught the stuff before it worked its way too far in, aye? Damn, those barbed spines are nasty, I think they have tiny barbs on 'em which stick into one's flesh. making it difficult to remove them. Anyway, I'm glad I don't have any of that cholla on my property, if I did I'd get rid of it, it's too dangerous for pets. The other stuff, not quite as much, but the cholla or "jumping cactus" is downright vicious!!!

I'm off to get cleaned up and hit the road for S.V., that's where the nearest Depot lies, but it's a scenic drive, so WTF, I'll crank some tunes as I take in the scenery, maybe get some pics for youse Monkeybiking Heroes & Crusty Mini Demons O' Dirt, LOL. CHEERS!!! :red70:

Drove to Sierra Vista today, took a few pics for y'all... check the traffic (rush hour, LOL), not to mention SNOW on the Huachuca Mountains!!! Even with temps in the 70s for the past couple o' days here in Benson!!! But Miller Peak in the Huachucas rises to an elevation of 9466', so the white stuff is still up there, LOL.

IMG_9047.JPG IMG_9048.JPG IMG_9049.JPG IMG_9050.JPG IMG_9051.JPG IMG_9052.JPG IMG_9053.JPG IMG_9054.JPG IMG_9055.JPG IMG_9056.JPG

Shots were taken as I gradually drew near to Sierra Vista on AZ90, it's a straight shot south from Benson for 32 miles or so. Nice scenery, even with some clouds moving into the area. Sierra Vista is also higher in elevation than Benson, 4633' compared to my home at 3624', and Benson proper a bit lower at 3586'. I suppose that's the mean average for elevation in Benson, the main drag is down around 3500' or thereabouts. :cautious:

Round #2 o' pics, forgot to mention that the 'barrage balloon' visible in recent shots is actually a high-tech number with sensors, imaging, etc., presumably to combat drug smuggling & illegal immigration, maybe for security purposes at Fort Huachuca as well. Army post, don'tcha know? There's supposed to be a listening post there too, or so I heard, but I'm more interested in watching the A-10 Thunderbolts (now called Warthogs, an ugly name, they should've left 'em Thunderbolts, a far more impressive moniker). Those are bad@$$ warplanes for close Infantry support, I love the way they wheel & maneuver in the sky, they can turn on a friggin' dime and cough up 9 cents change, LOL.

IMG_9057.JPG IMG_9058.JPG IMG_9059.JPG IMG_9060.JPG IMG_9061.JPG IMG_9062.JPG IMG_9063.JPG IMG_9064.JPG IMG_9065.JPG IMG_9067.JPG

Missed the first turnoff for Tombstone after I left the Depot in S.V., so I cruised back up to AZ82 and cut over across the San Pedro River Valley. Saw those bikers on AZ90, would've been more impressive on souped-up minis, LOL. Got some glass glare or reflective b.s. in that shot taken while crossing the San Pedro River, but y'all can see water down there, even though it hasn't rained for awhile... meltwater & drainage off surrounding ranges, no doubt. When I arrived in Tombstone, the place was closed down due to the idiotic Coronavirus scare, can you believe TTTTTD (or The Town Too Tough To Die) is actually affected by this political bull$h!t???

PFFFFFFT... meh, the citizens are tough, they'll ride it out and weather the storm, no worries. Felt like a ghost town though, compared to its usual bustling tourism scene. Still had stagecoach rides, but Big-Nose Kate's Saloon and a bunch of other establishments were shut down for the time being, and the boardwalks were practically deserted. I didn't stay long, just grabbed a sandwich from Puny John's BBQ and hit the road for home. Phoenix was hiding behind some glassware when I returned to the ol' hacienda, she was under house arrest for running around at night. :cautious:

Oh, yeah, there's heller glare off the glass, but that tooled leather saddle is a good example of the kind of workmanship one can find in these Western stores. The really nice tooled leather saddles can go for $10K and more, no lie, and I don't mean in the tourist traps, they're probably twice as much there, LOL. There are so many ranchers and horse-riding folks in Cochise County that leather tack & saddles are immensely popular, and the fancy tooled ones let pilgrims know: "Hey, dip$h!t, I'm livin' my dream in the Old West, so P!$$ THE F#% OFF!!!"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Gotta admit, the fancy tooled saddles are nice, and they scream MONEY... they're comfortable too, I sat in one and it was like riding a La-Z-Boy Recliner, LOL. WTF, might as well ride in STYLE if you can afford it, 10-4???

Well, guess I'll go watch a Western, I saw "MY NAME IS NOBODY" yesterday with Terence Hill, he's always good for a few laughs, especially when he slaps the would-be gunfighters around, LOL. Those are some hilarious scenes, I was laughing pretty hard during those... all his 'Trinity' movies are the same way, absolutely hilarious!!! Remember that scene where he blindly gropes around in his boot for a moment, pulls out a big ol' scorpion, looks at it and shrugs, then tosses it over his shoulder? Moi, just about every day here in the wilds of southeastern Arizona, LOL. :ROFLMAO:

CHEERS, YOUSE MONKEYBIKING HEE-ROES & CRUSTY MINI DEMONS O'DIRT!!! :red70:

Okay, we're good... don't forget to wash yer hands after wiping yer @$$, or something like that, LOL... o_O

Found that butterfly at an estate sale, some ol' gal died and left it behind, so I figured I'd give it a new home... anything backlit by the sun works here in Arizona, I just put it where the light will catch it and let the sun do the rest, aye?

Round #2 o' pics:

IMG_9100.JPG IMG_9102.JPG IMG_9103.JPG IMG_9104.JPG IMG_9105.JPG IMG_9106.JPG IMG_9107.JPG IMG_9108.JPG

Yard looks a bit better after weed-whacking today, 10-4? Phoenix sure likes Crackhead, those two get along famously... and how about those youngsters? Still TINY, but hangin' in there, LOL. Last pic shows feeding time at the ol' zoo tonight, all cats in for the night, safe & secure from those goddam coyotes... :cautious:

CHEERS!!!

Dang, forgot to haul that rubber mat outside and spray it with the hose... reckon I'll do that manana. I like that rubber mat, it's very comfortable for standing in front of the sink and doing dishes. Prep work too, but I'm still working on that huge vat o' spicy-hot homemade chicken burrito mix, the $h!t has been kickin' my @$$ for several days. LOL.

Tiger rolling in catnip... and a shot of the kittens asleep. :)

IMG_9121.JPG IMG_9122.JPG IMG_9123.JPG IMG_9124.JPG IMG_9125.JPG IMG_9127.JPG

Gonna be another beautiful day here in southeastern Arizona, sunny with temps in the low-to-mid-70s, and we have 80s in the forecast later this week. Good hammock weather today, I reckon. I guess y'all should know I'm looking for another job... :cautious:

The city let me go after I yelled at an inmate for smoking near the gasoline & AvGas containers, go figure... I had already told this idiot not to smoke in the barn, but he's just the sort of ignorant scumbag to rile folks by ignoring orders. Typical inmate douche... :poop:

God forbid I don't mollycoddle the poor inmate, and violate his constitutional right to endanger others in the workplace, PFFFFFT. Straight-up OSHA violation too, but there are kindergarten politics involved with the two young fools trying to run the show in the barn.

Morons figured they'd let me go now that 65 carts are up and running, but I already told the big boss that the barn will look like $h!t within a month, and the number of carts in service will drop like a rock. Lazy b@stards, those young fools... but I'm the one being shown the door.

Meh, I already applied for an ADOT job with the yard five minutes from my house, and it would mean a pay raise with all the same benefits, so we'll see what happens. I caught that ADOT job just before the posting closed, so maybe it's all meant to happen.

Funny thing, they're looking for a hand who is able to obtain a permit for a CDL-A within 90 days, while I already have a valid Arizona CDL-A, current medical certificate & spotless MVR, not to mention YEARS of experience, LOL.

So we'll see what happens... at least there's no friggin' inmate crew, dealing with those scumbags gets old fast, believe me. Anybody who has NOT dealt with an inmate crew, save yer judgmental bull$h!t for someone else, because ya have no clue what it's like. o_O

In the meantime, I'm on vacay after all, with a couple grand coming my way and few bills... I won't have to pay the electric bill at all for two or three months, my initial deposit is now on the books for paying future bills, which in a way is good timing, LOL. :D

Haven't been using much natural gas lately either, since nocturnal temps are rising into the 40s and 50s. So p!$$ on the ingrates at the city, I'll move on pronto and I still own my home free & clear... let the course go to ruin with idiots in charge, LOL.

LIKE I SAID, WE GOTS PRIMO HAMMOCK WEATHER TODAY, AND I'M IN THE MOOD TO PAR-TAY... WOOHOO!!! (y)

CHEERS, YOUSE MONKEYBIKING HEROES & CRUSTY MINI DEMONS O' DIRT!!! :red70:

Tell or ask your old employer not to torpedo your last job performance because now you need a new gig... ! I don't think i would like working with inmates either, would remind me too much of Kalifornia living; the new home base for so many losers.

If Nancy Pelosi gets off the rag, there should be some righteous buck$ coming to the working man from the Prez!(y) Hang Tough.

No overestimating the stupidity of the American Public, most of 'em are dumber than boxes of rocks, 10-4? And if this phony viral circus is so harmful to our economy, why exactly are we sending a BILLION DOLLARS to some goat-ropin' $h!thole like Afghanistan? Oh, that's right, to "combat terrorism"---another lucrative gig for the swine. :cautious:

Meh, I'll keep hammering away across the Interwebs as I ride out the so-called 'pandemic (yet to see a case in Cochise County, guess they figured their scare tactics wouldn't work here in Redneck Land, LOL). Got nothin' better to do now that I'm on the job hunt again, I'll even sling my hammock in this perfect weather and PAR-TAY like a MO-FO, no worries about money since I got plenty comin', and if I score the ADOT job I'll actually get a big ol' pay raise AND have all the same benefits, if not BETTER ones, LOL. So f#% it, I ain't worried about the situation.

P.S. Check out the bad boy breakfast burrito I made this morning, this is a separate batch from the pot o' chicken burrito mix... I'm still working on that batch, LOL. I macked one primo breakfast burrito today, saved two more for later this week, reckon I'll be mackin' & cr@ppin' burritos all week long, including this weekend... no problema, since I like burritos and they're easy to slap together once the cooking is done, aye? Y'all know me, I always cook in large batches as it's more cost-effective that way... same way I always cover a BBQ grill, no point in wasting grill space, and I like leftover BBQ material, LOL.

ALRIGHT, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAIDS... ER, I MEAN YOUSE HEROES!!! I'M OFF TO THE STORE FOR MORE BEER, LOL. CHEERS!!!
