Remember Obama left us with change, maybe Trump will leave us with some folding money.
Or maybe he will leave WITH our folding money. That IS what Donald Trump does...finds ways to get other people's money. He's pretty good at it too.
Definitely, the past has proven that. Just like most big wheels at big companies, makes their money off of the little man and never gets their hands dirty.
The whole time Obama was in office, 8 years, my boss said
NO RAISES!!!!!!! If you don't like it find another job! The local papers during the grueling 8 years of Obama had 1/4 of a page of jobs listed and the rest of the ads were massage parlor ads and the like.... Well now that Trump lowered the tax I FINALLY received a FRIGGING raise after 8 frigging years. Don't whine about Trump, now maybe your boss can finally afford to give you one too!
I could sure AFFORD a raise.lol.
The company I've been working for just asked me about getting hired on permanently. Its a relief, but I'm not holding my breath. I've been barely getting by and its depressing.lol. The 2nd/3rd hour shift I have been working is getting to my brain too. Seems like I'm always tired. I haven't heard anything about expansion or raises with this company, but one can always hope.
I've been hearing about alot of companies that are giving out bonuses, raises, and hiring/expansion, but haven't been really seeing it myself. I have a buddy that works for spirit aerosystems(Boeing) in Tulsa and he told me they are about to hire 300plus workers. They pay REAL good and have awesome benefits. Boeing just announced they are investing 350million into expansion and raises/bonuses.
A few years back, I worked for a defense company in Tulsa. It was a great company to work for. Defense cuts hurt it badly and then came the EPA regs. The equipment we were building were overheating and failing after the new emissions were installed. I remember the engineers going nuts!!!.lol. A few weeks later, I was laid off, but I wasn't surprised. The supervisor told me that he tried very hard to keep me on and didn't want to loose me, but there was nothing he could do. He did write me a letter of recommendation to help me find another job.
