So your saying if a Republican wins the Presidential office we will have change? Will we have more Bush politics? I seem to recall the Nation was on the verge of economic collapse just before a Democrat was elected. Bailout was a term coined at just the end of the Bush administration. Change? The Fox network is just an electronic spokesperson for the Republican party just like CNBC is for the Democratic party. Nothing will ever get done, nor will there ever be any positive change as long as our government officials keep on their own personal agendas. Republicans hate Democrats as well as visa versa. It reminds me of the TV show that was just on-- The Hatfields and MCcoys. Our nation is divided as well . There will be no change until government officials decide to work together for the common good and put aside their own agendas. Will it happen if Romney is elected? Don't bet your house on it{if you still have one} The only time people in this country stick together is if there is some catastrophic event. It will take total economic collapse before people wake up. I no longer believe in the Democratic or Republican parties. Neither one will do anything for this country. Its all about ME and what will benefit ME! Its the same in society as well. We are headed for some very very bad times. Then there will definitely be Change!

I believe you are correct hondaman , the banks and insurance companies run this country and they use lobbyists to get what they want. How do we get rid of the lobbyists? The special interest groups too....too many people want the guvmint to solve their problems. Too many politicians are eager to promise in hopes of votes....aaahh whatta I know?

I feel the same way. I'm smart enough to know that I don't know shit about whats really going on! I just want the economy to get better. i don't care who's in the office R or Dem. Just tired of watching my property value fall.

Been reading a lot about secret deals and that are not being spelled out to the American public......like trade agreemnets with China and other countries. Who ever thought that sending manufacturing overseas was a good idea for us? Seems it only benefits them. Not a union hater, but some of this could have been avoided if wages and benefits were held under control. I have always said , how can someone that makes $30 grand a year buy something made by someone who makes $100 grand a year. Not tryin to start a fight...just a question...K.
The federal reserve is what runs this country. They control the amount of money printed and the interest rates on it. It was formed years ago by the Rockefellers, Morgans, and other big money bankers. They control the economy of this country. It is unregulated and is what has ruled this country for many, many, years. Democracy died years and years ago. The media is controlled by them and they decide what you will hear and see. Their belief is that the common man does not have the capacity to know what is right or wrong. The average American are just cattle to them. We are good enough to do the labor but thats it. That is why they rake in all of the big money while the average Joe or Jane lives paycheck to paycheck. I could go on and on about the reality of this country{and I am sure many will disagree} but the older I get the more I realize what a crock this whole system has become. Don't get me wrong , this is still the best country to live in. That is only so because the rest of the world has degenerated into almost total chaos. My fear is that soon this country will follow suit. I do not have the answer for the fix, because I am one of those cattle that the powerful elite consider clueless.

Study the history. Our founding fathers never mentioned democracy in the Constitution, Declaration, or Amendments, and they hated the idea of it. Captitalism and a free market has allowed those willing to achieve to do so. Obama has fueled the class warfare with terms like "fair share" and "greedy banks." Next time you need a job, go ask a poor person on government assistance for one...Please vote for anyone who will get out of the way and let the free market run itself. Government is not the answer to recovery.
