Here’s my ‘71 Ct70. I’ve been hesitant to post a photo of it for a few months now because I’ve been waiting to get it “finished”. I realize that’s not coming for a while. I first tried to build it to be almost a mini Adventure bike so to speak. I’m putting a set of Pirelli tires and takegawa handlebars within the next week or so. A few more kepspeed and g-craft accessories to come as well. But....here it is...for now.

IMG_5008.JPG IMG_5010.JPG I bought this 1969 KO about a month ago from a West Texas rancher. I'm planning to upgrade the suspension and it definitely needs brakes. Probably recover the original seat and replace the butchered handlebars. Also, the switchgear is MIA so those need to be sourced. The good news is that the PO installed CDI..the bike runs great! I'm still undecided on painting it. I painted over the original, faded paint on my '71 Triumph and now I regret it.

If you repaint it, you might be afraid to ride it where you want. The best bike to have is the one that you can ride without worries.

I agree 100% on the paint. The other things will be done solely for their usefulness in keeping it on the actual trails. I'm having a blast!
