It's simlilar, but differs in some critical ways. The most important being the motor mounts. The ST90 engine is the same as the CT90/CT110, the cases are completely different than the Z50/CT70 type.

Great looking bike Dan! WOW!

I have a couple questions if you don't mind.

what size and model of Perelli tire and where did you buy?

what rims are those and where did you buy?

what exhaust and where did you buy?

Prices if you don't mind too. Thanks and again, sharp bike!

Pirelli SL26 100/90-10 I can't remember how much I paid.. Maybe 30 bucks each..

The wheels were purchased on ebay from Colorado Kite and Ski, I think I paid around 125.00 for the set, I haven't seen them around lately.. But they're comin off because I'm gonna copy racerx's 1972 front end and the hub is vastly different because of the disc brake.

The exhaust was purchased from Dratv for 255.00 it's real nice but you can't have a passenger on the bike with it on.

Thanks for the compliments..

Dan

Here's my two mini's- The 50 was received for Christmas of 1969 and is all stock, the only repro part is the muffler caution decal. In the early '90's I was still able to find a nos rear fender, license and tail light bracket, seat, bars and cables at very reasonable prices. Paint is all original, except wheels. The 70 I found in a back yard in 1999, it had just been put out to make room in a garage. $100 with title. Needed bars, seat cover, exhaust, tires and cables, carb rebuild. Rebuilt top end on original engine, and found the 70h motor thats on it now on ebay. Rebuilt it with small cam and 88cc kit. Original paint also but has repro headlight housing and repainted wheels.

here are my 71's I've had since new -- actually my dad & uncle purchased them , then shortly after my uncle wanted a bigger bike-my dad took out the headlight on one trying to jump a ditch following my uncle long before us kids drove them & so began the rough life for these little bikes-- I was born in 68 & remember riding these long before I took the reigns--they both sat at our house for 20 plus years in hibernation--I recently revived the one in the first pic that was crashed bad by my brother in the 80's & the other has been ridden for the last 4 or 5 years without mercy--luckly we never got rid of them cause I hated them when I was a teenager-- my 86 yamaha TT 350 has a bunch of dust now cause the older I get the more I like the trail 70's better
