WAHOOOOO!!! :43: Damn, this just gets better & better: we gots SKATEBOARD BIG AIR coming up, and I LOVE that scene, with dudes sending MONSTER AIR off that quarter-pipe at the end!!! BIG AIR, BOYZ!!! Gimme a CR500 and dare me enough, I would show you a easy 50mph 15 foot high 60 footer with a nasty tail whip! See pic below!

An NBA Blacksketball ad in the X Games?!?!? :13: What's THAT all about??? Meh, trying to capitalize on the popularity of the X Games, no doubt, especially with regard to young viewers. No worries, those NBA tards would make good CLIMBERS in the future LUNGE EVENTS at the X Games... GOTS THE REACH, 10-4??? :4:

Okay, Boyz, we gots tire kickers coming back with a contractor at 1600 hours, and I still have to cook a big ol' greasy double cheeseburger for lunch, as well as finish my laundry (in the dryer), but I GOTS ta tell y'all a CLASSIC TALE OF BMX ACTION, 10-4??? :red70:

"IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT..." [insert loud & prolonged vinyl LP scratching here] :27:

Actually, it was broad daylight, the sun shining outta clear blue skies, while my friends and I were riding bikes over by old Green Field at CHS way back in the day. Not Cutler Field, the former gridiron, but Green Field, you can Google that by tossing in "Coronado." Remember, we're OLD SCHOOL LOCALS, LOL. :tsk: Anyhoo, we were near 6th & G, where a short spur of pavement led directly onto the grass, like a cul-de-sac without the circle at the end, aye? I guess that spur of pavement allowed maintenance carts and whatnot to gain speed before tackling the grassy field beyond, LOL. Well, at that goddam time (mid-'70s) there was a pile o' dirt right where the pavement met the grass, so my friends and I brought a "self-activated dirt excavator" (shovel) to the location and proceeded to build a nice yard-high straight jump out onto the grass, right? :30:

And now we were flyin' off that jump, half a dozen of us on our BMX bikes, AYE??? But as we were logging some flight time, some other hand rode up on his little sister's machine, a CHEESY pink make & model (inferior brand) with a knockoff banana seat and tall high-rise bars, complete with $h!thouse grips and pink tassels at the bar-ends, LOL. :43: Well, one of my friends who was a rather competent rider automatically commandeered this pink p.o.s. special in order to JUMP IT, 10??? And this bike was UNSAFE, you understand: unlike our torqued-and-ratcheted-down BMX bikes (well, modified Schwinn Stingrays, LOL), this pink special was DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS!!! However, my friend, who was a bit of a show-off, manfully pedaled that bike toward 6th Street, did a 180, and came tearing back toward the yard-high dirt jump at FULL SPEED!!! :scooter:

Well, Boyz, that fool hit the jump at Mach 2.7, the pink special with small rims, high-rise bars & tassels LAUNCHING off that packed dirt jump like a freakin' Saturn V lifting off at Cape Canaveral, AYE??? I'm SE-WIOUS, BOYZ, that pink bike was destined for the STARS, all I could see of it was the hind end of that ridiculous banana seat, fake chrome and all, LOL. :29: Well, right around that time, and due directly to the ginormous heave my friend gave on the handlebars when he hit the jump, the front end of the bike disintegrated, BIG-TIME!!! :13: There was my friend, somewhere near the outer edge of this planet's atmosphere, the goofy high-rise bars & gooseneck in his hands, the bike falling away like an exhausted rocket stage, and the front wheel (forks attached) dropping like the bomb that hit Hiroshima, to eventually land, bounce, and roll to a stop in the grass of Green Field, LOL. :41:

Did I mention the fact that my friend was SKY-HIGH, pulling the MOST STYLISH "FLYING W" I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE MISERABLE LIFE?!?!?!? :77: I ain't jokin', Boyz, that hand was UP THERE, and the damned fool didn't have oxygen, space suit, cold beer, NONE OF THAT GOOD $H!T, but he was STILL ORBITING THE EARTH... well, for a little while anyway, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :3: He also pulled an Academy-Award-Winning John Wayne Combat Roll when he hit the deck, LOL. Most radical air I EVER saw in my life, and that's the honest truth, Boyz!!! Fortunately, my friend survived the brutal impact (in the grass, all bike parts well separated, LOL), and he lived to tell his KIDS all about that spectacular & dangerous wipeout, WOOOOHOOOO!!! Hopefully, he also instructed them to avoid substandard BMX equipment (a nod to CJ here with the anti-Chinese movement, LOL). BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Damn, back to this AWESOME WHIP COMPETITION on ESPN's X Games coverage... :red70:

Whoa, this episode of "MIGHTY SHIPS" on the Smithsonian Channel is radical, the BELUGA BREMEN is one BAD GIRL, a "Super Heavy Lifter" that transports the largest machinery in the world. Reminds me of those HUGE OVERSIZED RIGS I'd occasionally see on the interstate back in the day, the kind that took both lanes and shoulders out in the middle of nowhere, pilot trucks and State Troopers ahead and astern, full-on mobile roadblocks tooling down the interstate. This BELUGA BREMEN is awesome, she has HUGE DECK BOOMS or SHIPBOARD CRANES, and a sophisticated ballast system with numerous compartments or tanks, so the ship can automatically keep herself on an even keel while loading or unloading HEAVY CARGO. And this cargo is HEAVY too, the captain & crew are worried about the pier collapsing at the other end of the voyage, LOL. Yeah, it was interesting on the road, to see how folks dealt with such challenges, transporting super heavy and/or oversized equipment. Whoa, killer shots of the Panama Canal!!! Hey, I swam in that canal, LOL. Probably through heaps of oil & sewage, but meh, I'm still here, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Holy $h!t, the bridge of this ship BELUGA BREMEN looks like something outta STAR TREK, and I ain't jokin', Boyz!!! Okay, back to my program, just checking in with youse heroes, I'll be back later to post a link to a few shots I want to share, since they termed out or whatever at another site. HASTA LUEGO, MONKEYBIKING HEROES!!! :103:

Belmont Stakes today, Boyz!!! This time around, for me beloved mum's sake, I'll go with Stradivari, otherwise I'd probably go with Gettysburg... it's those sleepers that usually win the Belmont, 10-4? Had company yesterday, and another goddam tire kicker, so I never posted that link, but I'll try to do it later today. Got a tire kicker comin' today as well, I wish these j@ckholes would clear off on race days... in the words of Foghorn Leghorn, "YA BOTHER ME, BOY, YA BOTHER ME!!!"

Holy Crap!!! I'm watching old Westerns while pounding a few beers, and I gotta tell ya, it's weird seeing a Western flick with a climbing route you've done in the background, LOL. In this case, more than one climbing route, since this flick was filmed in J. Tree, where a good friend and I used to make an annual climbing pilgrimage. Meh, just wanted to share that trivial bit of weirdness with y'all, I'm back to my Western now, it's a good one, LOL.

Damn, the Razorbacks are stompin' the Horned Frogs, guess that Arkansas D is doin' its job, LOL. Good college ballgames on today, and pro ball mañana, AYE??? Still packing up the last of my kitchen stuff, getting ready for the big relocation next week. Gotta shut everything down in the next few days, and we're on it, BIG-TIME, but I don't wanna miss so many heller football games during this final weekend at the ol' hacienda, AYE?!? Anyway, I'm outta here... like a fighter pilot bailing out of his flaming aircraft (flaming as in actually on fire, not the other kind, LOL), I'm pulling the lever, hitting the switch, whatever the f#% it takes to ditch this cheesy "crashing & burning" scene, 10??? Holy F#%, one thing I've noticed in this game, the young women in the stands or on the sidelines are all WHITE, and they look GOOD... Christ, I'm no perv either, I have nieces that age, it's just something I noticed with all this fan-and-sideline coverage. Alright, I'm outta here, no need to respond (LOL), I might plague y'all one more time, like a bad rash, unless those in command of this site drop-kick me, LOL. Damn, I hate it when that happens, and it has already happened 1000 times, not that I have a meter on all that bullsh!t, LOL. I don't have the TIME, BOYZ!!! All I can tell you is this:

MY LITTLE FRANKENBIKE WILL BE RIDING SOME BAD@$$ TRAILS IN THE NEAR FUTURE, THAT MUCH I GUARAN-F#%G-TEE Y'ALL... GOTTA SWAP A FEW PARTS FIRST, AFTER MY RELOCATION, BUT NO WORRIES, THE TRAIL RIDES STILL GO DOWN, AND THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT. :red70:

P.S. Happy note, I'll have a better computer when I post those shots, LOL. Maybe some sort of "smart phone" with a camera and all the bells & whistles... remember, I'm an old rogue dinosaur who is NOT up to speed with all these modern technological advancements & devices, 10-4??? Livin' with my dead mom, no less... meh, maybe I shouldn't go there, time to move onward and upward into the mountains in another state, which is EXACTLY what I'm doing. Won't miss the crowds and buster-@$$ traffic in THIS sh!thole, that's for GODDAM SURE, LOL. Y'all be good, enjoy yer games, I'm outta here but may be back one more time, on my final stretch at ye olde hacienda, YEAH?!?

P.P.S. Holy Crap, the Frogs are ahead, what a game, WAHOOOOOOOO!!! I like both teams and programs, you understand. :41:
