Quite the load there Robert. How did you handle all that once there? Did you have someone with?
Yes a friend rode with me.. they are all turn key bikes except for the cl70 ( I’ve just never put gas in it ) so once unloaded they were able to be rode to there showing spot along the concourse. I forgot to bring my I pad but I did take some pics with my phone and another friend got some good pics with his Nikon so I’ll get those soon..

Of the bunch, I really like the SL100.
thanks,,,,i like that bike a lot too...it won the entire Japanese class about 6 or 7 years ago at the same show...I still bring it along every year being there’s always so many people that like it and there’s never another like it there...I want another to restore in the candy green color they came in...

I wanted a 71 100 so so bad. They were 440.00 at my dealer but my 50 was worthless on trade so that's as far as it went. Luckily, but maybe on purpose my dad sold his Harley and bought a SL 125. So I rode that alot. Bought the CR when it was around 2 and not competitive any more but for the trail riding I did it was great. Very hard to ride the SL after that- very easy to ride it faster than it was able to handle. Did one of my biggest tank slappers ever on it and survived! Didn't ride it much after that and dad then sold it on.Did not appreciate it at the time but that Emerald Green as many of you know was an awesome color

Here’s some even more updated pics of the green carbon fiber bike..I removed most of the anidized gold parts an swapped them with silver an black,,,( mirrors, throttle, levers, clutch slave, rear ,rear shocks, brake pedal retainer, rear brake resivoir cap,) I think it tones it down a bit?.. I also swapped the keihin flat slide 33mm carb for a keihin round slide 28mm… it’s a lot more tame to ride but still very fast..I like the k&n filter better from the big carb setup..did lose some power so anyone that really wants to go racing or wants it the fastest run the 33..so no one has to look back at old pics I’ll add pics with gold and big carb.. I would appreciate anyone letting me know witch way they like it better….

I think I dig the gold better, but it’s your bike. The silver doesn’t look bad, I just think the gold fits the theme. But hey, what do I know

I miss the gold too I think. I didn't like the gold on the back side of the mirrors...seemed like too much. But the gold accents seemed to make the carbon fiber paint pop a little more..?

Yeah I’m kinda thinking the same thing now…at least I still have “the gold kit” (lol) and its hardly nothing to reinstall it back…thanks for the opinion!!

After seeing Jacob Scruggs crack his awing arm with the Dayton’s 190 motor I got a little nervous being mine looked exactly the same as his even though they came from different suppliers. I think they came from the same manufacturer in China. So I bought and installed this takegawa setup ($500+) from weblike..it’s a little shorter so I had to get a shorter pair of shocks. I like the chain roller that bolts on to the swing arm pivot bolt so hopefully the chain wouldn’t slap the top of the swing are like the other one did.. I purposely left the chain longer to keep a longest wheel base possible. I also installed a 17 tooth front sprocket from the 16 I had on there to get the gearing dialed in better … I haven’t rode it yet but I think this gear set should be near perfect ? I’ll keep you guys posted on how much of a change everything has with the shorter swing arm and different gearing. I’ll still be checking for cracks !!!!
