I am working on restoring my 1969 z50. The original vin tag is chewed up pretty good and looking to see if anyone knows of someone that is repopping the vin tags and with the original VIN numbers stamped? I recall someone on here years ago that was doing it.

Thanks

Khneisser is AWESOME!! They make real nice reproduction tags and will stamp them to match your old tag. I posted a thread with some good pics of their work I’ll try to dig it up. I just got a confirmation email from them today about 4 tags they are making for me. They are in Switzerland so I email in the evening and overnight they reply lol.

Here is a pic of my plates that came in yesterday from Khneisser. It’s a total of 4 plates 2 for CT70’s and 2 for CT90’s.

Yes sir they are, that’s an extra $15 but it’s WAY worth it in my opinion. I have never bought a plate just straight off the website, I always email them ( Bruno ) with the make, model, year/month, and vin. I have bought several plates from them over the past couple of years and have always been very pleased with the plates I received. This last batch took about a month and a half and 3 or 4 emails back and forth but that was mostly me and them going back and forth with pics and dimensions on my 78 CT90 plate because he had never made that plate before.

Thanks. Good to know! They look like incredible replacements. I've heard they're not the cheapest, but we all know you get what you pay for.
