Here are a couple on craigslist...this should be a nice little case study. The one in Modesto is a little rougher but the one in Seattle although not quite as clean is in pretty nice shape.

Yes the bike looks perfect - like new. But muffler thing has me somewhat puzzled...? Rusted out perhaps?

Are we looking at the same pics ? The seat is ripped & there's rust on the handlebars - cables are cracked & yellowed which probably means it's been stored outside at some point. I would question the mileage as well (seat & general condition of the bike) . Not bad but 3K . Somebody's been sniffen burlap !!!

I did not notice that the exhaust was missing on the bike. It would help to know why.
