So I noticed the brake pedal was hugging the engine and it wasn't in a good comfy spot for my foot at rest. Figured the bike might have fell at one part in it's 25yr life cuz there was scuff marks on it too.
first I tried to put a K4 pedal on it and was surprised it didn't fit...too tight! :22:
so I put the original in a vice between two planks of red oak wood and was able to get it back to form but the paint got pretty scuffed.
Figured a fast shot of gloss black would spiff it up. When I sprayed it, it went on smooth as glass, when I came back to check on it, it had reacted badly, guess there was some oil on it.:13:
Only one thing to do; Aircraft paint remover then shoot a primer coat then black gloss.
Im certain it will look as good as new when I'm done.:10:
