Call me anal but, the first thing that jumps out when I look at the bikes is the decals are not straight and the front bike in the second picture looks like the rear wheel is bent. I'm far from a perfectionist but for that price I would want my purchase to be perrrrrrrrfect.

LMAO! Well it looks like the best offer so far is 8000.00 for the two but I have yet to post the finished pics. Maybe later today on flea bay. I would agree with the gentleman that loves to see me raise the ceiling on the prices of our treasured bikes. The more I get out of mine makes everyone elses worth more, dont you agree? Is it true that the Postal Service in Australia still ride the CT70 bikes in the rural areas? Anyone on here from Down Under?

Hey Double G, are you going to take the high offer? $4000 per bike is pretty good in the market. I'm sure ebay gets a huge cut too.

Yes but these are being sold to a guy out of west Tn, several hours away. 4K is more than fair but you know what it takes to restore these bikes. Heck, I have been asking you about these things since I got hooked on them several years ago. The buyer is bringing his daughter and leaving at 6am and this is her Easter Gift. A pair of Topaz 4 speed bikes. screw the eggs, I like the way this man works.

Looks like well done restorations could fetch between $4,000 to $5,000 if marketed correctly and you have patience.

He and his 15 yo daughter drove 5 hours yesterday one way from West Tn to come pick the pair up. He had not told his daughter or wife about the surprise and she was elated to see them sitting in my garage. He also brought a pic of his Topaz Orange 4 speed he had when he was a kid. We loaded them up after talking bikes for a few hours and the exhange of the 8k. Ultimate sale, everyone was happy.
Happy Easter to all, I have to get started working on the Emerald Green and Blue-Green bikes that I hope to list this Thur. Thanks to all for the input and God Bless.
