Z50 not starting first time without rolling starting it

Hey guys, I have a 1983 z50. Wil not kick over after sitting for a couple days with out a rolling start first. Any ideas why this might be ?

Do you mean kick-start is not engaging - meaning clutch problem Or it's engaging when you kick it over but will not start .
