    Newb checking in

Hey guys. New guy here. I probably have the same story as many folk here. I had a Trail 70 as a kid, until my brother took it apart trying to fix it, then eventually scrapped it. . But thats another story. I recently picked up a couple of 72's. Both of them are running, one not so well right now, but I knew that getting into it. I'm gonna just clean up the good running one a bit, fix a few odds and ends, and then ride it for now. The other I will probably go through a bit more thoroughly, semi-restore, as it has more miles. Anyhoot, I've been reading through a lot of the threads here, great information source. I'm sure I will have some questions before too long, but just wanted to come out of the lurking hole and say Hi!

    Welcome aboard!
Some luck lies in not getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted had you known.

    Hello Dravintoad!
    Welcome to lilhonda.

Many times, when I was young, I wished I was big enough to punch one of my brothers right in the nose.
    hehe... he's starting to squirm.

On the first one I got the carb cleaned and engine purring, de-greased and cleaned up, tail lights are now working, fresh paint on the wheels, fresh high heat paint on the muffler, battery from my kids power wheels (lol), cleaned up a few odds and ends, changed the oil, fresh gas, then took it for a spin around the neighborhood with a big grin on my face. I'm gonna leave the "patina" on it for now.

The other, I need to order a few parts before I get to scoot it around, but at least I have something to ride for the moment.
