    Carb Problems

Excellent point, I will get a compression check done so I can post it here for future troubleshooting. I believe you are right with complete top end. The bike is new to me with 4350 miles and stock bore. The bike is 100% original so I assume it has not bee rebuilt yet. Thanks, Fran

    Carb Problems

Clarification If you were to remove the aircleaner and look into the carb there is a very small brass tube, I think it is the feed to the Idle jet but I am not 100% sure. Either way this brass inlet is only 1/2 the length it is supposed to be. Thanks for the help

    Carb Problems

Hello, I just picked up a used carb and the small brass tube on the air inlet side is damaged, I had to open it up with a super small phillips screwdriver. It is opened up to normal size, but it is shorter than it should be, by 1/2,. Any ideas if this will effect it? I know carbs are sensitive...
