Most overkill on a CT70 Restomod

Personally...I'm loving the nasty big knobby tires and that is exactly what I've been planning to do to my hko resto mod....at some point. All I have found are 3.50 but those look super fat. Any idea where they were bought?

First CT 70, first resto mod

I wasn't just talking about your builder, just society in general these days. Like you. I have thought about attempting the whole rebuilding process myself. I would have to buy tools needed for rebuild though.

First CT 70, first resto mod

Well...we send our stuff out to professionals. Sadly, we dont think about looking things over upon return. I think the simpke explanation for that is that we dont always know what all to check. I mean, thats why its sent out to a so called expert....right? Not to mention the fact that it...

anyone know who makes 3.50-4.00x10 true knobby tires?

This knobby came off of my childhood ko. Its a 4.00 Nenkang or something. All I can find are 3.00x10. I think that's too narrow for a stock ct70 wheel. Want to put knobbys on my hko resto mod.

Paint removal methods for keeping the original paint

Personally, whatever the method used, I simply can't see every square inch of spray bomb paint coming off leaving 100 percent of original paint underneath. Blast and repaint.

m calling this my project Stan build.

Went to a custom shop. Already had my primer/sealer, silver base left over from my CRR resto. Think it was called Mean Green Kandy or something like that. Two coats primer, two coats silver base, went an extra two coats past the CEG so it would be darker. Then two coats clear..sanded...two more...
