    CT70H First Build, A Wreck

Yeah, poorly made aftermarket filter. The inlet of the Mikuni is 43mm and this filter was a stretch fit. After that it necks down to probable 25-30mm causing a huge restriction. New filter on the way.

Little update here. I have 100 miles on the bike and ive learned a ton. 1. Nut and bolt check sooner than later. I found some loose ones including the front axel. 2. Chinese ebay look alike carbs suck in my experience. I jetted and messed with settings an unbelievable amount until i said screw...

Thanks guys. I really think its timing related. Im at like 17-18 thou at tdc but thats what it ends up at when i aim for opening at the F mark. Ill adjust and try again. And polish out the blueing. Yeah new chain, and good valve adjustment.

@Thumper1500 I did keep track. I dont recommend anyone start with a frame like mine unless you can do the bodywork and paint yourself, that drove my cost up a lot. Also throughout i found a lot of bent stuff which drove the cost up, along with labor but here it is... $1578 in parts. $310 for...

    CT70H First Build, A Wreck

This has been such a great project. Grinding through the little sub assemblies for months makes this part the best. Its so interesting what the camera/screen do to this candy paint. It looks completely different in person.

    CT70H First Build, A Wreck

Thanks for the help guys. I either have no issue At all or a bad condensor. I say that because i see a strong spark between the points. We will see when its all together.
