Having built 30+ CT70's in my collection with aftermarket 12v engines.....you would not regret going with the 140.

The "webllc" harness makes the wiring a 15 minute job. Everything is plug and play.
You do not need an oil cooler with the 140.
I always use the original pegs. Space them down 5/8" and you're good to go.
I use the original exhaust, if I have it, or the $60 eBay knockoff. I prefer a stock look.

Just my $.02,
Mike

Thanks for the input but the wheels are already in motion... I ordered a new upgraded "thumper" exhaust, and stator side cover for the Honda since mine got bit by the chain somewhere along the line. I like the idea of a stock look but with an extra punch.
I realize that some people might bash the thumper exhaust from trail buddy but I think it looks fine even if it is the wrong style for the hko model and I feel like it fits the bike better than the newer style moto exhausts.
Next up is the engine kit and clutch kit might look into machining some shift forks if it's possible as I'd like to have some extras or maybe have them hard chromed or something to last longer? Does anyone think that would work? Just brainstorming that idea lol.
For those that don't know I am currently in Japan and trying to get most of the parts for the build ordered (not locally) while I'm here so when I get back to the states I have my project ready to be started.
