Uhhhh.... what color is the one with he and his daughter on it? This one is red and says "largely unrestored".... maybe the picture is just dim but it almost looks blue.... am I suffering flourescent light poisoning?

Just realized the image is probably a re color. Now it makes more sense....

FLP, or Flourescent Light Poisoning, some gal I used to know always railed about that illness, LOL. And it WILL be interesting to see how much the bike brings, you think it'd bring more than the estimate just as a piece of Lennon memorabilia, yeah? Meh, maybe not... I like a few Lennon songs, with "Imagine" being right at the top, I suppose, but his politics tended toward the left, which is probably why I never bought any of his albums. I bought a few Beatles albums, including The White Album, but never any Lennon albums. Well, we'll see, some folks are willing to pay big money for anything related to celebrities, maybe they see such purchases as investments, or maybe they're gonna stock a Lennon Museum, who knows??? All I know is I can't afford it, and I hafta save up for a quad anyway, LOL. :cautious:

He looks more like Peter Sellers in that picture to me. It will be interesting wonder what paper work goes with it? I thought it had been up for sale a number of years ago also.

Hey, OLD CT, youse knucklehaid!!! Now you've opened a can o' worms with that MJ statement!!!

[Cue the Monty Python version of the Spanish Inquisition, LOL...]

"YOU SHALL PRODUCE & POST VIDEO OF YOURSELF MOONWALKING, PRONTO!!!"

"AND BY GOD, IT HAD BETTER BE SUPERIOR TO ANY MJ OR M.C. HAMMER FOOTAGE!!!"

Okay, that's all I got, except for this classic old MJ joke:

Q: What's the difference between MJ & a Thoroughbred jockey?

A: MJ doesn't need a license to ride three-year-olds... LOL.

CHEERS, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAID!!! NO WORRIES, I STILL LUV YA, JUST NOT IN THE EPIC DARWIN FAILURE SENSE, LOL. :cautious:

You see sidewinder, MJ was robbed of his childhood being thrown into the music biz at a VERY early age. Dad,Joe was a dick.. ETC, ETC. MJ had his when it actually seemed like a BIG bike to him. When he was a kid. To a celebrity collector MJ's Z50 would most likely be more desirable.

WOW, that even exceeded the estimated range of £20,000 - £40,000. $78k + $9750 in fees (12.5%). That bike brought almost $88,000.

The best I could tell is that the front tag # is different from the one that recently sold. But that's pretty cool. I've heard the song hundreds of times but never saw the video.
