In the '70's used to bracket race in the quarter mile with a 16 second '67 1835 chop top bug. I even took 2nd place top eliminator at Bug-In 17 at OCIR. I later built a 2180 for it, but blew it up on the street. I currently have a '65 Ghia on a '73 pan, with a 2110 (82x90.5), dellortos, etc. but the trans is stock so I don't push it, plus I'm too old for this crap.
