Got the feelers to to the valves on my 1970 3 speed. Think I have an old puller somewhere. Do I have to do any soldering on those points and should I do a condenser while I'm in there?

I guess what I'm wondering is will it spark even if it needs points and condenser? I hear the coils on these things last forever.

I just picked up a 1970 4 speed with clutch. I just started cleaning it up and checking everything out. No spark and a little oil leak. I don't know much about motorcycle mechanics. I sure hope this thing is worth it. The 1970 3 speed was super easy and up and running in no time.
