Here’s one I broke down and did like JHminitrails ,,, if the paint is still decent the lacquer paint will wax and shine up..like airblazer said there only original paint once…seriously think about it before you strip that original paint off…

Well it’s finally done and all back in one piece.. got it all juiced up and it started on the second kick ,, motor is quite with no smoke runs and shifts perfect..50+year old rebuilt carb needed no adjustments!!! ,,,,,the chain guard on it now is a 50+ year old original Honda piece rather then...

Another update,,, I got the registration back for my k-1H from Vermont,,in pic is what they sent me back,,I guess no more tag stickers ,,you have to carry this paper when operating.. it’s a good way to get pulled over when your sticker is out of date!! I blocked the end of the vin for safety...

after I think around 1977 Honda did away with the shock spacer nut ,,,the pipe bracket shape also changed from going near straight up to dipping in then up so the spacer was no longer needed..those late style bracket pipes are not easy to find used or new,,, I can send you pics of the difference...

Vermont update,,,,, I mailed off my Vermont renewal for the blue/green ct70H about a month ago with a check for $48 with required paper work,,, they mailed my check back with a note stating the new price is $58,,, so they went up $10 but at least they are still renewing out of state...
