Sounds good enough for me. Thought the temp. range was odd and thought perhaps there could be an issue with heat. But if it works, it works.

I should have expected the ....:24: How about heat? Are these batteries subject to heat where they are in a stock location? The SLA batts I have seen say not to expose them to temps above 77degrees F. I'm pretty sure it gets at least that hot just sitting in storage in the summer. I believe...

Any downside to using a SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) battery in a 1972? 6Volt 5ah is the specs I found.

When I was re-building mine, I took everything that wasn't reused and put it in containers. Why do I need the original exhaust pipe that's rotted to pieces? Dunno, but it's in there..... Couldn't salvage the original tires when the wheels were restored, otherwise, they would probably be in there...

Correction: The terminal under the bolt head goes to the ground terminal under the light bracket. A small male spade terminal is built into the light fixture housing. Found this the hard way....LOL

I'm not 100% certain, but don't you need a minimum of 150cc's to take the test?

Funny how they didn't use the grab handles, but they punched the holes and put nuts in place to use them. About as useful as the helmet holder....:rolleyes:

The taillight socket still has the original connector on it. It's the other end that was missing the wire(under the taillight mount bolt). Now it makes sense. The connector under the bolt is suppose to have a female connector and wire coming out of it going directly to the tail light. Makes...

There is a terminal broken off under my tail light mount. The wire is missing, can someone show me where it is suppose to go? A picture would be much appreciated.

That's odd. Surely there are good, better, and best. I'd guess they sent you one just a notch below the "good" catagory. Or the wrong voltage?? Maybe they sent you a 24v?

What part of IL are these parts located? Is that the complete list of parts?
