Good buy, I wouldn't have passed it up myself.

    '82 CT70 Good deal?

I think you got a great bike at a great price. I know some models are prized more than others, but yours is a great example of the early 80's bikes. I wouldn't have passed it up if I had found it for sale. Dan

    Backyard Trail 70 Fun

I've been having fun this summer teaching the next generation the fun of little Hondas and thought it would be good to share. My son isn't so little any more, but he sure does love the hobby as you can see in the photo. Dan

    Wanted: Candy Green Headlight Bucket

Hi, I know these are hard to come by, but while teaching my next generation the joys of little Hondas, my original bucket has been broken. I would love to find a nice original bucket, but would be interested to hear if any of you have had luck painting a repro or other color original bucket...

It was fun, just like it was 25 years ago. Woohoo!

    71 ct 70 H for sale [SOLD]

Hey, that's great! Yes, it's sad to see it go, but you'll always be able to get another one later. I was really starting to think the market for these has just gone away, so it's good to see someone recognize a good bike when they see one. Dan

    Womb to Tomb

Hey, don't think I haven't been RV shopping with this in mind. I love the idea of hauling my CT and ATC 70s to fun trails all over the country. How long before I can retire (not soon enough)? Dan

    .2 mile 71 CT70

I just found those a little while ago... wow! I'm going to watch to see what the chrome twins bring, and I'll probably dream a bit about having the 350X in my garage. He has a pretty impressive collection, that's for sure. Dan

Going to Look at a 71 HKO

Matching nails? That's a good sign, this bike has your name all over it. Congrats on a great find. I'm watching like a hawk here in Ohio, but they just don't come along very often. I would guess they happen less in such a lightly populated state like Nebraska, so you're pretty lucky. You've...

WTB: Kickstand, 80's Style Handlebars, Clamp/Triple Tree

Are you doing a custom bike? You may want to look at XR100 bars. I got a set for my custom 70, added some ATC70 mounts to a flat, chrome triple tree, and it looks like it's going to work out well. The bars don't rise as much as the later 70 bars, but have a good feel to them. Just a thought...

Going to Look at a 71 HKO

Yeah, you can't win them all. I've tried to remember what I was thinking when I allowed my dad to sell our 70 and my very nice Cub 90, but I can't. We moved out of state and I was more worried about my 64 Falcon convertible and dad's 69 Mach 1. I guess the bikes were old news so I let them...

Going to Look at a 71 HKO

I'm especially interested in what you find. I learned to ride on a candy blue/green HK0 in Nebraska in the 70's. Please ask the owner how long he's had it and where it came from. I last saw mine near the Ceresco/Wahoo area. Dan

    CT70 H question

No way, walk quickly from this one!!!! Just send me the phone number and address of the bike, and I'll quickly make this temptation go away. I'll do that for you, no need to thank me.:D This one sounds like a no-lose situation. Buy it first, think about it later. For that price, you could...

    Not a CT70H?

I feel your pain. I got an ATC70 with the flywheel nut seriously welded to the end of the crank shaft. It was fully assembled, though and it ran for a while until the flywheel wobbled the end of the crank right off. I ended up getting another crankshaft, nut and gasket set and put "learn to...

Low Mileage Bike – Fix Up or Don’t Touch?

I knew it was a longshot, but it was worth asking. I last saw my childhood CT70H K0 and my neighbor's really nice K1 a long time ago, but not too far from Elkhorn. To this day I can't figure out why I let my dad sell them. I guess in my teen age youth I figured I would soon have so many high...

Low Mileage Bike – Fix Up or Don’t Touch?

Let's see some photos so we can help sort this one out. Many of us would love to have this decision to make. By any chance, did this bike come from anywhere near Ashland? Dan

    Shipping of bikes

That sounds like a plan. You should buy OldSchool's bike, have him break it down into parts, and UPS it to your door. Easy!
