    Z50 K0 and K1 carbs and Petcock

That should be correct for your K1. If you had the larger flat faced drain knob it would be correct for a K0 as you have the pot metal bowl drain nipple.

    Z50 K0 and K1 carbs and Petcock

Thank you! For reference. The early fuel nipple that is cast or pot metal, has a smaller hole in the bowl and the nipple can not be changed to the later design with the brass nipple as the hole in the bowl is larger for the brass design.

    Z50 K0 and K1 carbs and Petcock

Yes, K2 looks like same carb, but has shrouded air mixture screw. Here is what I have. And I think these are K0 carbs?

    Z50 K0 and K1 carbs and Petcock

Thank you Hambone and Kirby. So on the Z50 K0 carb. The differences between the K0 and K1 is basically the K0 has the flat faced drain knob and a cast or pot metal drain nipple, but the K1 has the brass drain nipple and smaller rounded faced drain knob? Anything else? I think I have two K0...

    KO Switch with square body

Well it was news to me, but for sure we have determined that they did make CT70 KO ign. switches both with triangle and square switch bodies.

    KO Switch with square body

I have talked to a few people that are very well versed in the building and History of the CT70 today. None of us had ever seen one before. I thnk they are pretty rare.

    KO Switch with square body

Ok, Now bear with me. But I was disassembling a silver tag of mine to start the clean up today. 1969 SN CT70-113XXX. silver tag correct parts

I just purchased what I believe to be an original KO silver tag exhaust. Has anyone ever seen a front exhaust shield like this before? 1/2 the clam shell and different clamps to secure it. Any info would be appreciated.

    Engine Model Year?

Thanks, Yes the neutral switch and wire, and cam chain adjusting nut. But seems weird there would be a K0 and K1 and both have engine numbers CT70E- 175492 for example.

    Engine Model Year?

Yes. The correct engine number would be CT70HE-1067xx to CT70HE- 1074xx or close in there

    Engine Model Year?

Thank you, So this means there are KO and K1 engines with the same exact numbers?

    Engine Model Year?

Wow I think I just strained my brain trying to comprehend all this. So maybe I can just ask what should be a simple question. I have a 1972 K1 CT70 with a frame VIN of CT70-2049053 and a tag build date of 3/72 So the big question is approximately what would the engine number be? I assume it...

    69 ct70 what's so different?

Thank you, So I guess my silver tag is one of the later ones at 1139XX because it does not have these earlier hubs without the bosses?

    69 ct70 what's so different?

Mine is the same as all my other CT70 K0's and is shaped wider at top and welded both sides at wide point. From what I can see it is shaped like the one Kirrbby posted if I am seeing that correctly.

    69 ct70 what's so different?

Thank you Kirrbby. Mine is a silver tag but it has those round bosses. I guess 113917 was after the boss absent hubs. Thanks

    69 ct70 what's so different?

Hello all and thanks for those who have contributed so much to this thread about the CT70 silver tags. I just acquired an unrestored Red silver tag SN 113917. It has many of the features listed such as seat pan, brake strap, large 8's on bolts etc etc. But I am struggling to understand the...
