Save yourself the hassle buy the bucket. His paints are not that exact and if you don't have the right base coat its not going to come out right.

It seems my ct70 has a tendency to drag and not turn the motor over smoothly. I am thinking clutch springs are hanging up but does anyone have a suggestion for a fix.

Hello I am restoring a 73 Z 50 Uggg I thought I had the right head for it but inadvertently installed an 85 head on this motor and the valves hit. I had restored an 85 z and replaced that motot with an sl70. Had the old head lieing around and forgot that they were different. Anyways looking...

Meant 1/4 ratchet or 3/8 with 10 mm socket

If you rotate the sprocket on the outside of the motor or where the shift drum is there is a10mm bolt put a 1/4 socket on there and that also helps if you work the drum while shifting it. Its tough to do with 2 hands but you can wiggle sprocket and turn drum and it will eventually shift. Also...
