    Preferred oil

Anyone running amsoil, A friend of mine tried it in his Harley after reading all the hype about it. The oil temp in his bike dropped 20 degrees, less heat less friction.

Watched a guy on youtube scrape the body work on his old quad with a wood working scraper then take a propane torch and melt a gloss back into the plastic, looked good. Scott

Who has a Cub or Passport

I had a 84 passport that I bought for $150 with 107 original miles, unfortunately it was put away wet and in rough shape. The engine ran perfect so I pulled it along with the wiring harness and installed it in my daughters 1969 z50. The electric start sure makes a nice edition to the bike. Scott

    1968 K0 415 chain

The 415 and 420 are the same pitch, the difference is the thickness of the sprocket. I have a z50m that needs a set of sprockets so I plan on skimming the thickness of a 420 sprocket set to the proper thickness. I think tsubaki's web site lists the chain and differences. Scott

    Decisions, decisions..on paint color

I don't understand peoples obsession with resale prices affecting their decision ,We are talking about a ct70 not a million dollar car. Paint it emerald green and enjoy the bike that's why we own them. You may never sell it and will wish you painted it EG years ago. Scott

    New project: 1980 Honda Z70R

37-38 is pretty good, I built my daughter a 1969 z50 with a 1984 c70 passport motor and I managed 41mph. The motor only had 100 original miles and is cdi that's probably why I hit 41mph. Scott

Scooter all the tanks that I have are straight. Yours is bent. I had one that was slightly bent, I put a piece of steel shafting into it and gave it a slight tweak. Scott
