I signed up for an account on checkthatvin.com and plugged the VIN numbers for both my 1970 and 1978 CT70's in there and it returned "no record found". I assume that means they were never titled or plated, but wanted to ask you guys if maybe there is a certain trick to putting the VIN's in or...

Never mind I just searched it and found out most all 70 models are three down shifting. Now all I need to know is how to tell if it is a z50 trans in the z50 case or a CT. Is there any difference?
