I have a K3 and just purchased and installed a new speedo cable for it. It is the correct, slightly longer cable, not the K0 cable. Trouble is, it is too short and holds up the carb slide a bit so the engine is always at high idle. I cannot figure this out, the routing of the cable seems...

Anybody have a throttle cable to part with? I don't care what condition the outside is in as long as the inner cable is good, not frayed, and has both ends good. K0 cable will not work, too short. Inner cable must be 35" long... I think K1 will work, but maybe not? Anyway, definitely K2 or K3...

Does anybody know how many of those fat ziptie straps were on CT70's and where they went? I want to order the correct number and not sure where to put them on the bike. I know one goes on the right handlebar and one behind the battery... is there a third?

So I am putting an engine back together after a full rebuild - I have all the cam tensioner stuff loosened up as per Clymers, but still cannot quite get the cam sprocket to line up with the holes on the camshaft to install. I don't feel like I should have to force it... what am I doing wrong...

Reassembling a motor last night and put the tensioner arm (part #3 on attached photo) on. It occurred to me that the are needs to have at least a bit of play for the tensioner pushrod to be able to move it up and down... but how loose is too loose? Any info on how much you guys are torquing this...
