Newly acquired ct70 frame. Is it worth anything?

Pics will help. Also post the engine VIN. If it within 400 of the frame number the value will be higher. H models are always a good find.

WTB CT70 Hubs and Brake panels

There are always quite a few of these parts on Ebay for fairly decent prices. No matter where you get them you are probably looking at doing a good cleaning and polishing anyway.

Building a Frame Stand, Pictures appreciated

Definitely. I actually had the stand bolted to the top of my work bench when building just the motor. That HF stand would work IF the platform is large enough for the stand base.

Building a Frame Stand, Pictures appreciated

If you intend to build the bike on the stand, you really need a stand that the engine mounts to as ctbale said. I like mine because I can actually rotate the whole motor which makes working on it much easier.

    CT70 I found

Only if the bike was registered to begin with. Lots of them weren't back then as they were just used for off road use. Either way, nice find!

    CT70 I found

No need to pull any covers to get engine vin. It will be on left engine case below the area where the frame vin is stamped.

    1970 CT70KO complete restoration

Nice start! To be clear, what you are doing is a resto-mod. A complete restoration would be to return the bike to its stock configuration.

    Painting the rims ???

Whatever paint you use, immerse the can in a bucket of hot water for a while before use. The paint will flow much better.

    Fuel Lines

Most fuel line is sold by the foot. The reserve line (ribbed) is 11" and the main line (smooth) is 12.75".

    quality or not?

I bought a really nice CT seat from hondabikerescue, but like hardlyrider said, I think they are all using the same source. Except for the white lettering (instead of silver) the seat was excellent for a restoration.

    Intake Components Seem Crammed Together

This may be hard to explain: when all of the intake components are installed (manifold, carb, boot, airbox) the assembly seems "crammed" together. The boot on the front of the air box is compressed; it takes a lot of effort to be able to bolt the manifold to the head if it is already bolted...
