I know with the Ct-70 the color codes do not exist?

How about with the z50's?

Does anyone know the color code for the '78 year of Tahitian Red?

Tahitian Red = R-23

However, at least over here, only very few of the paint shops are able to do anything useful with the Honda paint codes.

Thank Mfro for the info.

I assume the R-23 refers back to some manufacture number and there is were the problem lies with the matching.

I will give it a shot.
