I got my engine back from rebuilding and was installing the carb. My insolator is cracked on one of the ends at the 6mm hole. I know I did not drop it, I guess being so old made it brittle? It has a funny shape to it, the top is longer than the bottom causing the intake hole to be closer to the top. It looks like an unequal diamond. The replacement parts I've seen are all more equal in that the intake hole is evenly in the middle? Does anyone know if Honda made more than one shape insolator for the CT 70 carbs? The other thing is my carb is one of Enzo's and he had to modify my intake bolt pattern so the newer carb would fit. I'm afraid the new insolators may not work. Help?
