CM91 Coil Wiring question.

Hello all! I’m finishing up the restoration of my 1968 Honda CM91 Roadster. I have a question about the Coil red wire. Behind the battery there is two different wire choices to plug it into. One is the red wire coming from the stator. And the other is on the main harness stuffed up where the coil is. What one does the coil wire go to? I can’t seem to locate a diagram. Thanks in advance!272369B1-2DD9-4A66-AE8A-D975C42F36EB.jpeg

Coil power should be 6V from the battery. Do you have a battery in it? The battery power should run to the switch and then back to that battery compartment where you plug in the coil. You can check for switched power at the wire- if you get 6V with the switch on that's the spot. Wire coming from the stator connects back to the battery for charging. Diagram should be pretty close, if not identical, to CT90.

Awesome! That should be an easy tell. Thanks!

The guy I bought from had a cap 3d machined from plastic. It’s a pretty awesome replica! Not as smooth as OEM but when they are NA. It’s something! I was thinking of having the inner tank made out of aluminum and make a new cap that way. the cap did not have any rubber gasket so the fuel actually leaks easily when full.
