Little update here. I have 100 miles on the bike and ive learned a ton. 1. Nut and bolt check sooner than later. I found some loose ones including the front axel. 2. Chinese ebay look alike carbs suck in my experience. I jetted and messed with settings an unbelievable amount until i said screw this. I got a Mikuni VM20 and gained 10 mph after just bolting it on, hooking up fuel and getting crafty with the cable length. After installing a filter it ran too rich, went to the leanest needle setting and its still a hair rich. I will end up jetting it but the carb and response are excellent with no air cleaner. Granted its a way bigger carb so the jetting is understandable. I have taken it into some trails as you can see and as i said in my first post. Yes the green bike has done a lot of burnouts and runs better than mine and another fresh resto in my neighborhood. Beater 3 speeds are the best bikes no question. Happy fathers day to all the fathers, i wouldnt be into this if it werent for mine.
