<blockquote data-quote="kjax74k3" data-source="post: 37825" data-attributes="member: 3445"><p>all i will say is ford cosworth consumer version is a car even chevy and honda guys drool over round here.can reach 1000hp and smoke sti's lambos porsche chevy ect. ect. ect.</p><p>the honda civic though likes to basically eat money and gas but go nowhere withing a time limit. the 6 cyl is great though. all of these 4cylinders are very key to good cars but unlike the previous comment to get into tuner kid racing #1 the muscle dont spin with traction control and a good rear diff. #2 acc. vs top speed and areo v8 has the acc. the 4cyl. beats it with speed in the long run. however they need turbos ect. a stock v8 is faster than a stock 4 evenly matched with turbo/charger and exhaust ect. the 4 would be smoke in the wind.the 4s are getting there just not a good race car when dealing in safety vs speed. nascar needs the horses to haul the gear if it were 4cyl. it wouldn't be 200mph for 4 hours ect. because regulation would weight the cars to high hell.all that weight reduction goes to hell with a cage damage panels, air brakes(flaps), harnesses, equipt. ect. the 4's would overheat and die.4 cylinders are nice but leave them on residential roads please these tuner kids in civics are getting more accidents caused and they just plain are damn annoying.we have hemi, shelby, and ss drivers that are more freindly and less stupid than the college kids cutting you off for going 90mph in a 60 then being pulled over or hitting an obstruction. my simple rule sure i may go the the speed limit but you are going 90mph into that pole and im going 45 around the bend.i like my 4 cylinder just not as a race car.and i know that if i were dumb enought to put a turbo my motors life would be cut short due to excessive wear, cars were made stock because it is the best way they run and work in the long run.</p></blockquote><p></p>
