Extra wire?

I am attempting to rewire!...
I just reconnected a new harness on a 74 St90...seems like all the connections went well in the headlight bucket!
The battery is connected and a new coil and condenser is connected...The tail light operates, as well as the rear brake light.
Problem lies in a wire without a home!...
The pic shows a blue with red stripes(dots) with a male bullet ... I cant see that colour combo on any of the wiring diagrams
Any ideas?

Nowhere near running yet...carb and gas tank not even reinstalled yet...
Things were going so well wiring wise till the weird wire...there appears to be the same colour wire with a blocked connector but nothing available with a female bullet...
Wiring on this puppy is rather confusing...that's why i replaced the harness with a new one.
