Honda CT70 what year and type?

i was wondering what year and type my CT70 is, i think its a HK0 the frame number is CT70-113799 :22:

That would be vintage '69/'70 K0, not an "H".

Based on the VIN, it's a 69' and like Karen said. It may even be a highly collectable "silver tag".

there is no plate on the neck and i think that the original color is sapphire blue but some body paintid it black:2:

You may want to check the engine number ( just above the gear shifter) to see if the frame & engine are a match .

Can you tell if there is a decal under the paint on the neck? Are there any rivet holes on the neck?

yes there are holes where the plate was

My Silver Tag does not have rivets or holes...but, according to the VIN number you posted it should be a silver tag model. The holes though point to a black tag model????

It's unfortunate that someone removed the tag if in fact it was an early silver. I don't know of anyone who reproduces the silver tags...Maybe someone else here does if you are wanting to do a resto.

I have a call into my client that reproduces the tin/aluminum tags for me. I need some good clear pics of the silver tags, I'm going to see how close he can reproduce them for me.

Thats awesome Jamie...Not a lot of people will need them but for those who do it will be priceless.

That number is way too high for a silver tag era motor. You can look for comparisons in the owner registry on this forum. I haven't looked up your engine number but I think it's a late 71 CT70 motor.

My silver tag has no rivet holes...the tag is held on by adhesive without rivets.
