How do you assemble a 72 CT70K1 throttle?

Looking for some help, I have a stock K1 throttle grip assembly. I'm almost done with my 1972 CT 70K1. I can see where each part goes, but I'm wondering if there is a trick to putting the throttle together? If anyone has done a photo step by step that would be great? Seems you have to push down the cable holder down flush into the handlebar. Then pull out enough cable to fit it in the throttle slide. Then fit the holder into the grip pipe. Slide it onto the bar while engaging the camber. And then install the small screw up through the bottom. If that is correct could someone let me know? Thanks

throttle assembly

I have purchased two carbs from enzo. Each came with a new cable. The first installation gave me trouble due to the cable holder, the first piece that threads onto the cable once you slide it up the handlebars. It can go on two ways. The correct way is to have the threads of the cable holder on the side toward the handlebar end. The cable end feeds through and then gets threaded. Enzo emailed me a pictures of the right and wrong way when I told him I was getting a really high idle once everything was installed. Once I saw the picture I knew exactly what I had done wrong, I put it on backwards. Email him, he'll answer quickly and know exactly what you did. The only other thing I did was to hold off putting the throttle grip on until I had everything up to that point done and started it and took it for a little ride. I just used the throttle tube without the grip until I knew I had everything assembled correctly. It's easy.

That's it! I put that little piece on the cable end backwards. I just asumed that it screwed on into those small treads from the outside. I have not started the bike yet, waiting on a kickstarter arm. That also explains why I was having a hell of a time getting the throttle to work smoothly. Thanks much!
