Is this my timing index? New to bikes

Is the notch at 3 o'clock on my stator the mark for lining the F and T when static timing? I see most videos and pictures have a different mark at the 4 o'clock spot. The mark normally looks like a metal tab mounted between the coils. Is mine missing, or are there different types? 1977 ct90 for reference. I am new to bikes and really don't know.

WELCOME RUSTY ! .

Remember : the "T" mark is for Top dead center, where you adjust the valves .

The "F" mark is for Firning point, where you set the ignition timing, static or dynamic .

The valves are set to .002" engine stone cold .

I am! Once I did the valves, timing etc and tuned the carb up after getting it nice and hot it runs well. Just waiting on my license since it takes months here :/ I still take it for spins around the neighborhood.
