Good point, LOL... I could probably fabricate frame sections or swingarms out of my shotgun & elephant rifle, LOL. I've considered 10" wheels for my FrankenBike, I could easily swap 'em with that aluminum swingarm and those extended fork legs I put on the bike. There's still a certain cachet involved with riding on 8" rims, especially in the dirt. My ThumpStar pit bike has larger wheels, but they didn't stop me from slamming my knee on the rocky Rim Road, LOL. I think the fat little knobbies on my FrankenBike actually handle some of the ruts and washboard sections BETTER than the knobbies on my pit bike, even though the pit bike knobbies are decent tires. The pit bike tires ARE a bit thinner than the knobbies on my FrankenBike, a factor which probably came into play during my last ride. :red70: I'M OFF TO ENJOY THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND, WEATHER HERE IN SHOW LOW IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT... EVEN THE WEATHERCASTERS ARE CALLING IT "PERFECT CAMPING WEATHER." INDY RACE TOMORROW, WOOHOO!!! :4:
