Except it don't work that way. Who could resist the temptation of having been given one and leaving it sit in the living room? Frankly 10K only pays my health insurance for 10 months so I would have had to tie up my money in 25 of them and hope that 30 years in the future they were collectable and that the kids didn't knock them over with them all sitting in the living room.... just saying

MAN! Checked out the pics! Those old mxer's bring back some great memories! My brother had a couple oldies back in the day! A 74 Rickman with the Zundapp powered 125 and a Maico 400 with the coffin tank and a rear sprocket the size of a pizza! LOL! :LOL:

Your health insurance is a lot. The point I was trying to make is that 32 years in the future they DID become collectible. And apparently some people resisted the temptation and now mint ones sell for a lot more than what they originally cost... and you could have always bought a chrome one and ridden a plain painted one. A lot more fun as an investment ...just saying.
