OE parts source

HI there i just recently decided i wanted to get my childhood motorbike back up and running The bike is a 1983 Honda 70cc mini trail and everything is in mint condition except for one thing: the Carburetor. Before the bike came to be parked for many years my family had taken it to a junk yard mechanic who took off the original Carburetor deemed it damaged beyond repair and jerry rigged a smaller older carburetor i believe off of a 1970's honda 50cc mini trail. the problem i have is the jerry rigging didnt suffice and the CT-70 will not run. I've been looking for a couple weeks now and i can not locate an entire OE carburetor assembly. I have the honda part number, and i'm just wondering if anyone has a part source that might be able to help me out. Even if there is an aftermarket type carburetor or if i might be able to something with the one i have.

Thanks guys:monkey:

carbs just dont "wear out"..they may get dirt and such and require a rebuild but the just dont "wear out"....my pet-peeve i guess...about the only part that could ever destroy a carb is neglect or extreme scoring in the valve throttle assembly..(think automotive butterfly valves)...beyond that theres really not anything to "wear out"..glad you have a replacement..sucks when some bone head just wont take the time to rebuild a carb
