Have restored 1970 ct70. Cylinder bore .025 and new piston and rings. Starts and runs great but smokes. What parts do I need to have a complete valve job done??

Thank you!No we didn't just piston and rings. We've had pretty good luck with several ct90 "smokers" having a complete valve job done. Since I bought this from original owner and done a full restore just wanted to get rid of smoking issue. Just wasn't sure of part numbers

You want #8 the exhaust valve seal. The intake does not have one. The valve guide seals never really need replacing unless you change the guides, themselves. If you ordered them already, that will not fix the smoke. Order #8. Do a leak down test on the valves.

If exhaust guide is wore out the #8 seal will not last very long..check both guides by installing just the valve threw the guide and make sure it doesn’t rock or wiggle in any direction..most of the time I found there normally good but i have seen a few with some major wear that had to be replaced.
