Project Panda Monkey Bike

Hey All i havent really ever posted on here much so i thought ide share one of my builds.

I started with a 2002 Jinching panda and pretty much all thats left of the original bike at this point is the frame. I chose to begin my project with a Panda they are farily easy to get a plate for in California, and i knew i planed to replace most of the bike anyhow.

This is what it started as. pretty much your plain Jane panda bike.

First thing i did was paint the bike to get rid of the hidious look of the original paint.

Next i began studying all the Japanese sites for the coolest aftermarket and ploted out what i wanted my bike to look like. I decided that G-Craft was the route to go and i found someone to work with to acquire every thing i needed to make it happen.

It look many months/years to get all the pices i wanted and for a long time i was running a Zongshen motor. this was about half way along with the build here.

The aftermarket list is extensive. Just list some of the bits its got:
G-Craft +16cm wide type swingarm.
G Craft wide type triples
G Craft billet rear master resi for nissian master
G Craft remote master resi
G Craft seat
G Craft 4" by 10 rear rim
G Craft 3.5 by 10 front rim
G Craft front hub with disk spacer
G Craft wide type rear hub
G Craft wide type fork brace
G Craft headlight stays
G Craft blinker stays
G Craf offset front sprocket
G Craft rearsets
Brembo radial adapter.
Brembo master.
Brembo radial caliper.
Brembo rear caliper
Takegawa clear tail light
Braking wave rotors
Nissian rear master
Honda monkey tank
Daytona bars
Takegawa LCD speedo
Daytona Blinkers
Chrome headlight bucket
Yoshimura two exit tri Oval Titainium Exhaust system
Takegawa inline oil filter
no name Oil cooler
Ohlins rear shock
Keihin PWK28 carb
Kitaco intake

and the motor is a 137cc TJR Honda NICE motor

most of the bike is aftermarket but some of the stuff to make it all fit together i had to make some brackets. Such as the bracket holding the oilfilter, the rearset relocators, the side plate that the shock zes mounts to, and the front braket rez master bracket.

There goes the neighborhood! ;)

Seriously Brad - good to see some of your stuff here. Your bikes are the stuff the rest of us aspire to!

I love the monkey and really would like to get a tagged 50 knockoff so I can ride on the street with it. I may try with a Hooper knockoff, as they are local and come with a proper VIN number I believe. Washington is tougher than Cali if that is even possible.

Great ride. :monkey:
