[COLOR=‘[/COLOR]#417394’]It was the kind of offseason you could hurt celebrate, if you are a Los Angeles Laker.

Dwight Howard, Steve Nash, Antawn Jamison, Jodie Meeks ... it is not difficult to understand why the Lakers coach Mike Brown could not contain himself recently.
"I'm a little excited," said Brown ESPN Los Angeles when he heard about the trade that landed four teams Howard. "I tried to jump up and down, but my mind was telling me do something that my body does not allow me to do so. I almost pulled my hamstring sitting. I do not know if this has happened to everyone, but I was so excited that my leg straight up. I almost tore my thigh. So I got up slowly and gave him and (executive) Jim Buss a hug.

"This is perhaps the first time they hug obtained from their coach, ever, when it is a commercial event."

The Lakers are the big winners this offseason NBA, adding a superstar center, two-time MVP point guard and two scorers bench high volume without losing much of the heart of the team. After consecutive disappointing finishes, Los Angeles is again a title contender elite. Howard, Nash, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace is the best starting five in the NBA.

PLUS: Kobe, players lead Lin won the offseason

The team that gave Howard, Orlando Magic, is at the opposite end of the spectrum. After six consecutive playoff trips featuring Howard, the Magic are entering a new era, one that takes a lot of time.

The Magic had six players and three draft picks for Howard, Jason Richardson and two reserves. The best of the bunch is Arron Afflalo, a property that was the entrance Denver Nuggets' third best player last season. Going to have to be a star if the magic hope hovering near respectability, as they lost power forward Ryan Anderson to the New Orleans Hornets.

USA sport today focuses on three other winners and losers of three NBA offseason so far:

Winner: Los Angeles Clippers

Things get more interesting by the minute in the City of Angels. The Clippers face adversity with injuries to the incident power Blake Griffin and Chris Paul leader in the U.S. Olympic training camp. But both should be back for the start of the regular season. In addition, the team returns Chauncey Billups, who played at home before tearing his Achilles tendon Paul. Grant Hill and Lamar Odom support older still on the bench. And they replace Mo Williams and Nick Young top scoring sixth man Jamal Crawford.

Loser: Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers got the lowest score of overvaluation project servers Dion and Tyler Zeller. The servers have a low index of summer league, if Zeller played well. But the Cavaliers have little to build around rookie of the year last year, Kyrie Irving, who has the appearance of a superstar. CJ Miles is a useful bench player, but probably start in Cleveland. Small forward Omri Casspi, acquired JJ Hickson last season, is unhappy with the team despite his own game bad. And often injured center Anderson Varejao is still without reliable backup.

Winner: Minnesota Timberwolves

Ricky Rubio made the interesting T'wolves last year and tore ligaments in his knee and missed half the season. Get back Rubio is only part of the reason to rejoice Minnesota. They added a pair of talented Russians, Andrei Kirilenko NBA veteran and rookie Alexey Shved, who played for the bronze medalists in London. They got rid of two of the strangest No. 2 overall choice in recent years, Michael Beasley and Darko Milicic. And they picked potential contributor Dante Cunningham Memphis Grizzlies in case of non-potential contributor Wayne Ellington.

Loser: Charlotte Bobcats

The team set the record for futility last season did little to improve themselves during the off season. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was a good draft pick, but he did not respond to a desperate need for team scoring. They changed hands at point guard DJ Augustin Ramon Sessions, with a little head, but no better now. They traded for Corey Maggette Ben Gordon, who is barely better than Maggette and a longer, bigger contract. The result: They may question their own 0106 record low winning percentage this season.

Winner: Philadelphia 76ers

Andre Iguodala, Elton Brand and Lou Williams made the Sixers respectable for years, but they do not bring to the team title. Andrew Bynum could. The center, acquired in trade Howard, a huge increase even seven seasons in the NBA. He turns 25 in October and now get to unleash its full potential without tightening Bryant blows from all angles. Richardson,
nhl snapback hats wholesale Dorell Wright and Nick Young are solid strikers, and Richardson could find his groove again this year after struggling for the Magic. In addition, Evan Turner and Thaddeus Young should flourish without veterans Iguodala and Brand take their minutes and roles.

Loser: Toronto Raptors

The offer swing-and-miss for Nash was inevitable, he wanted to win a title, and the Raptors are not there yet. But they also overpaid Landry Fields, a middle low, and exchanged a high potential for the 2013 draft leader Kyle Lowry. Lowry is an update on Jose Calderon, who will be redeemed at any time, but it is not part of the NBA's top 15 leaders. The good news is Jonas Valanciunas, the No. 5 selection in 2011, joined the team. The bad news is Valanciunas, who showed flashes of his potential in limited playing time for Lithuania during the London Olympics, is not ready for the starting role, he will probably be lost in the beginning.
