could you send me the diagram for wiring a zongshen engine?
thanks
PM me your e-mail address and I can send you a clear copy of my pic. It is for an electric start bike but you can ignore the stuff for the solenoid if your bike is kick only.
.
Here is a description of the wiring
Remember-Flame-out switch is the kill switch. Green wire in China means ground instead of black
.
The colors of the wires coming out of your engine may be a bit different, I have seen 2 versions but its easy to figure out,
Black/red from engine can also be yellow/red in some cases is power to cdi box-
usually goes to red/yellow in the harness-leads to CDI box
Blue/white from engine can also be red/white in some cases and is the cdi trigger/pulse-
usually goes to red/wht in harness -leads to cdi box
Solid Yellow from the engine is for lights/rectifier and goes to the Voltage regulator/rectifier
It can be sometimes be spliced between the engine and the regulator with a wire in the harness leading to an on-off switch for the lights.
Solid White from the engine is for the regulator and goes to the Voltage regulator
Solid Green or sometimes Solid Black from engine is ground and goes to green in the wiring harness-always.
Light green with a red stripe or green/wht stripe from the engine is the neutral indicator wire.
.
Black/yellow wire from cdi box harness goes to the coil +
which can be black/yellow stripe or black/white stripe
Green from the coil goes to ground or green ground wire
Blk/white stripe from cdi box goes to kill switch
.
Solid Red coming out of the regulator is your 12 volt (+) Power wire for running stuff and charging the battery and usually goes into a splice somewhere in the harness.
Solid Green coming out of the regulator/rectifier is ground
