By down, I mean south, Sierra Vista is actually at a higher elevation than Benson... which suits me fine. If I do this, I will probably buy a full-sized dirt bike or Enduro so I can start trail riding again, especially out by the Stronghold. That's Cochise Stronghold, you can Google it to see pictures, it's a huge natural stone fortress and world-class climbing area. <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite11" alt="" title="Roll Eyes " loading="lazy" data-shortname="" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
That bird looks like a real character, LOL. Nice riding area, we had the tall Ponderosa pines in the White Mountains, with some cedar and other stuff mixed in, but mostly tall pines. Same deal with the wildlife, I'd see herds of deer and the occasional elk while riding, one time an elk cow crossed the dirt road ahead of me, jumped back out of the forest and ran ahead of me for 20 or 30 yards, then vanished back the way it came... I backed off my throttle and just watched the critter, didn't wanna tangle with an elk on my mini, LOL. It'd be Elk, 1, Mini Rider, 0!!! I've been considering another move to the Sierra Vista area, just because there are more work opportunities down there... I hate commuting with a passion, even 40 minutes each way, so I may sling my home after all and get on down there.
