Eclipse Festival...

Had a great time at the Eclipse Festival in the town where I live. We were in the path of totality and got to witness the total darkness for 2:05...I had a blast riding my CT into town and cruising all over meeting new people that had come to town for the event. I had a Harley Road King for many years so I enjoyed cruising up to where the bikers were hanging out and parking right next to them. A few would come over and chat with me about my CT saying that their first bike was a CT. One guy said at of all the bikes around mine was the one he wanted and offered to buy mine, I of course declined the offered. These mini's sure do make great conversation pieces....

Your bike is definitely the best looking one I see in those pics. I think our vintage Honda's have most Harley's beat in the cool factor. I see a occasional Harley that is pretty cool. But typically my bike is still cooler :--)

I was at about the 80% point

I set up and took this image from my location. I'm sure total eclipse was a great experience.

I live 7 miles outside of our town. We took our ATV up in the mountains behind our house. When total darkness was reached we took off our glasses and you could see the lights come on in town. The thing that is interesting is it just takes a sliver off the sun to bring back lightness, the sun is a very powerful thing. I have a video of it getting dark then the lightness coming back, I'll post it when I get a chance...

The video might be too large to download here. These are pics of the same spot, one in the light and the other in the dark. We were looking east towards town.

That's the Snake River, I'm standing in Idaho taking the picture. It looks across Oregon then back into Idaho again...
