Bikes That Aren't Worth A Look

I see a lot of usable parts, some are very hard to find...pretty much everything except the frame, wheels/tires, shocks & seat cover. The HL ear appears fairly straight, as does the front end assembly. Those later seat pans hold up quite well, too. I wouldn't be surprised if the wiring is still mostly intact, also. Someone with a good `79 frame could source most of the parts needed to complete a bike in one shot.

Might be interesting to see how many usable parts escaped the vultures...and how much of that bike is plant food.

I found an excellent restorer/painter in my area. His tools for painting are spray cans and maybe some paint brushes. He is super efficient and is running a special that includes a complete paint job while you wait. He provides gloves to load the bike back up if the paint is not completely dry.

That’s a shame, I’ll say he did a good job on his retrofit but I wish would have just bought a Coleman mini bike instead.
