Ive been saving this motor for a future project but im focusing on new platforms now. I must have built 50 motors and 25 cts at this point and dont see me doing another.
this is an interesting build. Complete xr70 bottom end except the clutch which is xl70 stuff with an aftermarket cover. So 3-speed clutch. Piston and cylinder from dratv with dome to match stock ct70 head which is stock form from a 1970. Oil cooler and 21mm dslide carb. Everything needing replacement was like seals gaskets rollers bearings and such. Was fired up on the stand using a different carb. No gas through this one yet. No oil through the cooler yet. I have a jet kit to go with the carb and the original head cover if u dont want the cooler hooked up. $675 and shipping.
